Stewards are in the majority at Stamford Bridge now as the majority of fans vanish into the Big Smoke. A hefty number of Chelsea fans had disappeared before the full-time whistle had blown so certain were they that there would not be a dramatic comeback. And they were right. 

Here's a fact for you. Sergio Aguero is the third opposing player to score a hat-trick at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League, with Nwankwo Kanu and Robin van Persie being the others. 

City's fans are celebrating. It's been a fine week for the blue half of Manchester. Manuel Pellegrini's men leap to third in the table, a point ahead of Arsenal who have a game in hand, and they've reopened a four-point lead over fifth-placed Manchester United.

Seconds remaining of this match and Chelsea lose possession as they work their way towards City's box. And that is that. A handsome victory for City, a hat-trick for Sergio Aguero. 

A consolation goal for Chelsea perhaps? Diego Costa has the ball inside the City half but he's engulfed by a phalanx of defenders. There's no way through. The Blues aren't giving up, though. Baba Rahman weaving into the box from the left, his cross earning his team a corner.

Thibaut Courtois has been way below the standards he set last season and he now becomes the sixth goalkeeper in Premier League history to receive two red cards in the same season. 

The others? Neville Southall in 1992/93, Pavel Srnicek 1994/95, Jussi Jaaskelainen 2001/02, Maik Taylor 2003/04 and Allan McGregor 2013/14.
