"It has been an excellent half. It would be churlish to criticise any player on either side because the quality was as good as anywhere. 

"City had more clear-cut chances because they had players making runs and someone who could make the pass.

"The goal came, it was a beautiful break and wasn’t easy. Aguero maneuvered himself some space, a slight deflection but I don’t think it would have made any difference. I do think City deserve to be ahead."

Chelsea have defended City's rapid counter-attacks with great difficulty but long gone are the days of clean sheet after clean sheets. Indeed, the Blues haven't kept a clean sheet in their last 10 Premier League games at Stamford Bridge.
