All three of City's shots so far have been on target so Guus Hiddink's men have much to thank their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois. Some will argue, however, that Samir Nasri should have done better when he was clear on goal. 

Another corner for Chelsea. Their seventh. But Yaya Toure heads away Fabregas' inswinger and City are on the counter-attack once more... 

Pedro with an inswinging cross and Aleksandar Kolarov puts it away for a corner, though arguably a better touch would have allowed him to clear it rather more cleanly. This match is being played at breathtaking speed.

Samir Nasri, persisting with the bleached blond '90s boyband look, is through on goal! But Thibaut Courtois comes to the rescue, the goalkeeper's legs ensuring the score remains goalless. 

Fred Astair-like footwork from Yaya Toure, beating one man before releasing Navas down the right. The move comes to nothing but City are threatening. Moments later Jesús Navas nutmegs Baba Rahman. His final ball is poor, but Chelsea are wobbling.

Manchester City counter-attacking with lighting speed. Kevin De Bruyne charges goalwards... the Belgium international closes in on goal, shoots - but Thibaut Courtois comes off his line to deny the midfielder. 

Chelsea have had the better chances in this match and the hosts are now beginning to have the better of possession. The Blues earn a corner, much to Samir Nadri's dismay, as he thought Pedro's shot had gone straight out. 

Willian's corner falls to Gary Cahill, whose volley is deflected wide. Another corner, but this time there's no danger inside the box.

Cesar Azpilicueta attempts to cause some damage down the right flank, but his hopeful cross is comfortably dealt with by City's defence. 

Momentum with the Blues, though, and moments later Ruben Loftus-Cheek evades his defender - a beautiful turn - and swings his shot across goal which Joe Hart appeared to flick away, but the referee says it will be a goal kick.

Chelsea unbeaten at home under Guus Hiddink, while City's form away from home is what has ruined their title challenge. The visitors bossing midfield at the moment, the presence of Yaya Toure and Fernandinho giving them the physical edge. 

Both teams evenly matched. Both attacking with pace, but the final ball needs to be better. Defences on top, but there's been plenty to suggest that there could be a few goals in this match. 

Manchester City currently enjoying possession. The hosts breaking quickly when they have the ball. Aleksandar Kolarov crosses low from the left to the opposition box but Gary Cahill calmly boots away the danger.

Calm after the storm inside City's box? No chance. Joe Hart was pumped up in the tunnel pre-match and perhaps there's too much adrenaline running through his veins at the moment. 

Diego Costa puts the ball in the back of the net, but the whistle was blown for offside before he closed in on goal.

Scrap that. Joe Hart left in no-man's land, coming off his line in an attempt to get the ball from Diego Costa but the Spain international turns his back on the City goalie and causes havoc. He feeds Pedro, who goes for goal - but Nicolás Otamendi is on the line to boot away the striker's goalbound effort. Nervy moments for City.
