With Northampton Town already crowned champions, the race for the final two automatic promotion places looks likely to go to the wire.

Just two points separate Accrington in second and Bristol Rovers in fifth, with three games remaining. Oxford United and Plymouth occupy third and fourth respectively.

All four are at home today: Accrington v York; Oxford v Hartlepool; Plymouth v Dagenham & Redbridge and Bristol Rovers v Exeter.

If York fail to beat Stanley, they'll be down - although a point for Newport at Luton would see the Minstermen join Dagenham in the National League next season.

    Man City 4-0 Stoke

All over and that was as routine a win as they come for Manchester City.

They move up to third and bump Arsenal down a place.

All over in the Championship and it ended honours even. Barry Bannan's opener was cancelled out by Darren Bent.

Here's what it does to the championship play-off picture. If Cardiff lose against Bolton today, Sheffield Wednesday will be confirmed as the final team in the play-offs.

If Cardiff win, that could make next week's match between the two sides very interesting.

Nigel Clough's Burton will secure a play-off spot - and tighten their grip on the second automatic promotion place - if they win at Colchester.

Anything but a victory for Colchester against the Brewers would relegate them - and even a win might not be enough if Fleetwood beat Blackpool at home and Shrewsbury take three points at Gillingham.

Wins for Fleetwood and Shrewsbury would also mean Doncaster have to beat Coventry at the Keepmoat to survive for one more week.

    The face says it all.

Mark Hughes may have loved to have got one over his old team today but his players haven't responded. They've played like they are already on the beach at Benidorm.

That is where well-paid footballers go, isn't it?

'O spirit of Bellirin! how quick and fresh art thou'published at 14:23 British Summer Time 23 April 2016

    #bbcfootball

In terms of your Shakespearean sonnets, this one may just top the lot. To Samson from London we doff our caps.

    If football be the food of love, play on;

Give me excess of it, that, struggling,

The Arsenal title bid may sicken, and so die.

That March again! it had a dying fall:

O, it came o'er my ear like the silent sound,

That comes from a bank of fans,

    Paying and giving nothing!

Enough; no more: 'Tis not so sweet now as it was before.

O spirit of Bellirin! how quick and fresh art thou,

    That, notwithstanding thy capacity

To pass the ball, nought enters the goal.

But what we shall be next year,

A title and a ticket with low price,

Even in a minute: so full of hope is belief

Though it is all high fantastical.

Ex-England captain at the Etihad Stadium for BBC Radio 5 live

"Iheanacho took the goal well. We know all about his talent. It was Bony who made that with the pass but Iheanacho has proved a point once again when he gets a chance.

"He has something that Rashford has - pace. It comes at the right time and took him past the Stoke defenders."
