The ball is down the wrong end as far as Spurs are concerned. Two West Brom corners give Spurs some defensive work to do, which they manage before launching the ball downfield.

With Spurs committing more and more men forward, there is space at the back for West Brom to exploit. Stephane Sessegnon almost does just that with an angled shot into the side-netting.

West Brom might even win this. Stephane Sessegnon fires a shot wide and then, from another attack, Jan Vertonghen has to time his tackle perfectly to stop Salomon Rondon bringing the ball down in the box for a potential shot. Seven minutes left.

Tottenham have 11 minutes to try and keep their title bid realistically alive. The home fans try to get the team going but it is a half-hearted effort at a chant. They are shell-shocked.

"It has been coming - Spurs have been giving away corners. And West Brom have four centre-backs in their defence which tells me they have a lot of good headers of the ball. Hugo Lloris comes out a little bit too weak for me. Dawson rises and makes amends for this own goal."

    Craig Dawson

Dear pigeons, say hello to Mr Cat. West Brom are level. Salomon Rondon sees a shot from inside the box tipped over for a corner, which is slung in to the mixer and met by the rising Craig Dawson to head into the net. Hugo Lloris misjudged that. He came to try and punch but caught Eric Dier instead of the ball. Goals for both sides for Dawson - the second could well put a decisive nail in the coffin of Spurs' title bid.
