Not quite the same Tottenham dominance that we saw before the break. Albion definitely had a rocket from Tony Pulis. Better from the visitors but you still don't really feel they are going to snatch something....

West Brom corner. Nervy times for Spurs. It is a good delivery from James McClean and a better clearing header from Toby Alderweireld. It sets Tottenham on a break that sees Christian Eriksen run clear and just fail to latch on to a forward pass as Boaz Myhill comes out to head away. This is cracking entertainment.

Great lay by Harry Kane brings Kyle Walker into the attack down the right but his cross is headed away in the box by Jonas Olsson.

Spurs come forward again, though, and win a free-kick in the Baggies half, which Eriksen delivers and Claudio Yacob heads away before Mousa Dembele fires a shot from range across goal and wide.

Eriksen looks to settle Spurs' nerves with a shot from 20 yards following a driving run but his effort skips just wide of the post.

There is just the sense of a few nerves now for Tottenham. There is still just one goal in it and West Brom are carving out the occasional threat. The ball is swung in to the box and headed wide by Salomon Rondon.

Hang on, did Spurs have a decent shout for a penalty from that Eriksen free-kick? It looks to have hit Jonny Evans' arm before being cleared. Not that it matters now.

Jonny Evans drags Erik Lamela to the turf and is given a yellow card. It gives Spurs a free-kick wide right, which Christian Eriksen swings in and Jan Vertonghen meets with a header that is blocked in the six-yard box.

What a goal that would have been. A lovely flick from Dele Alli releases Christian Eriksen down the left and the Dane charges into space before crossing low for Erik Lamela to plant a shot against the base of the far post. That is the third time Spurs have hit the woodwork.

Here is Alli, setting up Christian Eriksen, whose angled shot from the left is put behind for a corner, which is taken short and leads to another corner. The second delivery is swung in and through a host of bodies in the box before West Brom clear.

Apparently, there is a video currently circling online of Dele Alli punching out at Claudio Yacob off the ball. That could well land the newly-crowned young player of the year in some bother.

Fair play to West Brom, they have started much better this half. Craig Gardner clips the wall with a free-kick from 25 yards, which makes it easier for Hugo Lloris to save.

West Brom have a free-kick wide right but Dele Alli heads away at the near post before a combination of Kyle Walker and Erik Lamela see off the threat of James McClean down the left.

One thing is for certain, West Brom are going to have to offer an awful lot more in this half than they did in the first. They were completely passive in the first 45.
