Aaron O'Neill: Even more predictable ... the red card against Barca when they're a goal down

Derby have taken the lead against Hull. Curtis Davis dawdled on the ball for too long and Bradley Johnson finished off from six yards. 

At St Andrews, Brighton have equalised through Connor Goldson while two quick goals for Middlesbrough have put them in command against Huddersfield. 

Grant Leadbitter scored from the spot to open the scoring and a minute later Gaston Ramirez doubled Boro's advantage.

A MASSIVE moment in this tie! Atletico Madrid are down to 10 men as goalscorer Fernando Torres is shown his second yellow card to huge whistles in the Nou Camp!

Diego Simeone is waving his arms around - he's not happy - but that is a booking. Torres clattered Sergio Busquets on the halfway line. What was he doing?!

Arturo Vidal should have his second, ghosting in to meet a cross with a header again but this time he heads down into the turf and it bounces over the top. Nobody is picking up those runs. Benfica hanging on.

He may still have it after all, Fernando Torres! He takes the ball on his chest wide on the left and then plays a brilliant pass through for Antoine Griezmann to get on to. One touch, has to shoot early, and he does, toe-poking the ball toward the far corner and it needs Marc-Andre ter Stegen to make a full-stretch stop! Jordi Alba has hurt himself too, maybe popped his shoulder out?

That's a great free-kick from Thiago, cheeky and impudent as he chips the ball over the wall but Thomas Muller can't smuggle it in.

Fernando Torres has his goal and now he has a booking too as he chops down Neymar, cynical. 

Eleven men back behind the ball when Barca have possession. Stay compact. Stay narrow. Atletico's tactics aren't top secret. But they are still hard to crack - and now they have an away goal!

Liam Kelly has given Oldham the lead against Swindon in League One and Dagenham are 1-0 up against Morecambe through Joss Labadie in League Two.

This is page one, chapter one of the Diego Simeone textbook. Atletico have frustrated Barcelona for 25 minutes and then given them an almighty sucker punch to the jaw. Have some of that...

The Nou Camp has gone quiet as Lionel Messi finds himself in the right-back position trying to influence play. Frustrated man.  

Oh my, a "howler" from Brighton goalkeeper David Stockdale, spilling the ball and giving Kyle Lafferty the chance to bundle the ball home on his Birmingham debut. A blow to Brighton's promotion hopes? Too soon for such talk perhaps. 

Elsewhere, Matt Derbyshire has put Rotherham 1-0 up against Bristol City with a cute lob.

Ah he has to score! The full-backs look like being Barca's key men in attack tonight as Dani Alves finds a yard of space on the right to stand up a cross, it's perfect for Neymar to arrive on to and he just heads it over from eight yards out. Had the whole goal to aim at, put it over. Inexcusable for a man of his class. And he knows it, kicking the springy turf in frustration. 

Barcelona, as usual, are hogging the ball. But the Catalans haven't done much with it, lacking tempo in the opening 15 minutes. Atletico aren't just sitting back though, shown by over a quarter of the play going on in the Barca third.

In contrast, Bayern are slicing through their opponents at will. With ease! Thiago unlocks the door with a lovely little dink over the top and Thomas Muller has no hesitation in letting off the first-time volley, he goes for the side foot not the instep and Ederson has to save it. He does. 

A rare Atleti attack sees the tall figure of Yannick Carrasco skip away from Javier Mascherano and fire off an early shot - but it's well blocked at source. Barca's usual free-flowing stuff hasn't got going yet.

Dare I say it, but that was a poor effort from the genius...

It could be a long night for Benfica, they've had just 28% of possession so far. They'd snap your hand off for a 1-0 defeat now. Can they nick an away goal though?
