The other semi-final is rather selfishly hogging all the goals. There's been a fourth in that one as Kevin Gameiro fires home a penalty for Sevilla to make it 2-2.

Concern for Villarreal? Tomas Pina is limping, but they've used all three subs. 

They are the ones doing all the attacking for now, though, with eight minutes to go.

Denis Suarez floats the ball in but it is far too close to Simon Mignolet, who claws it out of the air.

If Liverpool are missing a Suarez in their side they could do worse than take a look at Denis. Poor free-kick aside, he has been very good tonight.

A chance for Villarreal here. They've got a free-kick, 25 yards or so from goal. Denis Suarez is over it...

Another change for Villarreal but this one is enforced. Eric Bailly has picked up an injury and so he is replaced by Marteo Musacchio for the final 13 minutes.

Great ball by Joe Allen and Adam Lallana is through on goal but the linesman's flag is up. Was he offside? I'm not so sure. Big decision.

Roberto Soldado has had the same influence on this game that he did for many at Tottenham (read into that what you will). He goes off now, with Adrian Lopez replacing him.

Jonathan dos Santos is going off and taking his awful haircut with him. Sadly his replacement, Samuel Castillejo, has clearly been to the same barbers.

James Milner has been brilliant today, he is everywhere and he plays a fine ball through the Villarreal defence for Roberto Firmino. The ball comes in at pace so Firmino has work to do but controls it well before smacking a shot against the base of the post.

The man that matters most in that decision - Jurgen Klopp - doesn't agree. No movement from the bench as we pass the hour mark. Liverpool, in fairness, are looking pretty comfortable.
