Posing in half-and-half scarves and baking Yellow Submarine cakes? It's fair to say Villarreal are pretty excited about their first competitive meeting with Liverpool.

In fact, they've got a whole host of celebratory shenanigans going on from playing Yellow Submarine over the speaker system before kick-off, to a big parade through the streets of Vila-realfeaturing a brass band and a massive inflatable Yellow Submarine.

Loving it. Anyway, the teams are in. So, without further ado, let's see who makes it...

For a man who loves his music, Jurgen Klopp will love this connection between Villarreal and Liverpool.

The moniker 'Yellow Submarine' was apparently adopted back in the mid-1970s, after the famous Beatles number came on a jukebox as Villarreal fans celebrated promotion from the fourth division.

The Spanish side has come a long way since then. They've risen through the leagues to the point where only the 'big three' of Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are above them in La Liga right now

The musical connection might make for a party atmosphere before kick off, but Klopp will be in no mood to celebrate if his side fails to do the business tonight.

Since the last 16 of the Europa League, Liverpool have been paired with clubs that seem to share some sort of connection with the Reds.

There's been the traditional rivals in Manchester United, the Jurgen Klopp and terrace anthem link with Borussia Dortmund and now Villarreal - a side whose nickname is lifted directly from a song by legendary Liverpool band The Beatles.

The Spanish side are now all that stands between Liverpool and a place in the Europa League final.

Will Klopp's men take a big step towards sinking the Yellow Submarine tonight?
