How do you stop Gerard Deulofeu? Daley Blind has to come across and almost clothesline the Spaniard.

Does Blind not know Wrestlemania doesn't start til tonight??

Anyway, no booking for the Dutchman and now Everton put can put pressure on with a corner...

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Is this Michael Carrick's last season for Manchester United? The midfielder has struggled again today and given the ball away numerous times.

It eventually leads to Leighton Baies playing the ball into the feet of Romelu Lukaku in the six-yard box, who spins and shoots, but it's brilliantly blocked by defender Daley Blind with the ball heading for the bottom corner.

    David de Gea was stranded.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah's first act of the game is to push forward and swing a cross into the Everton box but it's straight at Joel Robles who can catch the ball like Ben Stokes on the boundary.

There's a switch in positions at the back for Manchester United as Timothy Fosu-Mensah comes on at right-back and Matteo Darmian switches to left-back.

Marcos Rojo is also left back...in the dressing room.

Who would you name a stand after?

Christian McCann: The marouane fellaini stand, quite tall but offers little elbow room.

Jamie Sheehan: The Paul Sturrock stand at Home Park (for his first spell in charge).

Ari Barzi: The Alexandre Pato stand at Chelsea where you would complete the stand and wait 64 days for it to open.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah is stripped off and comes on for Marcos Rojo for Manchester United.

The Argentine lost possession 15 times in the opening period, winning zero percent of his duels.

Fair to say, he had a bit of a shocker.

Manchester United full-back Timothy Fosu-Mensah going through a vigorous warm-up. Is Louis van Gaal sending him on in place of Marcos Rojo, who didn't have the best of halves against Gerard Deulofeu?

This is the 10th time in the Premier League this season that Manchester United have gone into the half-time break at 0-0 at Old Trafford.

It is also the sixth time at Old Trafford in the Premier League this season that United have failed to have a shot on target in the first half.

Statisticians Opta have had their work cut out this season.

"I would say Everton have just shaded that first half. It's very quiet here at Old Trafford. There are times when you watch them at home and the noise is incredible. Today, you can just hear groaning from the home fans. It's really dull. The public address system is playing Glory, Glory, Man United. It's certainly not glory, glory Man Utd at the moment."

Alston James: The Laurie Cunningham Stand at WBA and Leyton Orient.

John Downes: The Daniel Sturridge stand, you could replace all the seats with stretchers.

Stuart Johnston: The Darren Anderton stand unfortunately would remain empty as it was never fit for purpose!!

    Well, that was awful.

We've seen some pretty drab and dreary first halves at Old Trafford this season and this one is right up on the top shelf of boringness. 💤💤💤

Zero shots on target from either side.

It's little against large but United defender Daley Blind has marshalled Everton striker Romelu Lukaku really well.

The Dutchman looks about 12-years-old next to him but he hasn't been fazed by the Everest style challenge.

Excellent play from Manchester United front men Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.

The Englishman with a superb back heel on the edge of the box which puts in the Frenchman, who goes down in the box but it's a fantastic tackle from John Stones.

Stones is a rock at the back for Everton today.
