United going the direct route this time as Daley Blind pings one from centre-back into the corner for the rapid Anthony Martial to chase.

He earns another corner from Republic of Ireland full-back Seamus Coleman but the following set-piece is awful.

Little man Anthony Martial towers above the Everton defence but can't get much purchase on it.

What boots do these England centre-backs wear? Maybe they've got slippers on. John Stones' slip for England in midweek proved costly and this time Chris Smalling is almost punished.

He tries to close down Romelu Lukaku but can't keep his footing, putting the Belgian through on goal, but goalkeeper David de Gea is off his line in a flashy to clear the danger.

Christopher Ballett: Close to the strongest possible Everton side (arguably is their strongest). Haven't seen it often this season.

Little rhythm in the game so far, it's been very stop start. Anthony Martial's strike which went narrowly wide the best chance of the game thus far.

It was an emotional few minutes prior to kick-off at Old Trafford, with the club marking Sir Bobby Charlton's 60-year association with the club by naming a stand after him. 

Ooof, almost the opener, the best chance of the game so far.

It's United's diminutive Frenchman Anthony Martial with the effort, across the goal, flashing inches wide of Joel Robles' right-hand post.

Should have been a corner though, took a slight nick off Leighton Baines on the way through.
