  1. 'Consistency away'published at 15:54

Man Utd v Everton (16:00 BST)

Everton manager Roberto Martinez: "We have a balanced team and need to react from the loss to Arsenal. We are a team that plays a certain way and have to perform well in this arena.

"When you play against Manchester United, you need to know how to hurt them and break them down but be resilient at the back too. The way they keep the ball is very strong. They have only conceded seven goals at Old Trafford.

"We learnt a lot being in Europe last season so our away form has been consistent. That has allowed us to reach two cup semi-finals."

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal: "As a child, when I watched football, we have seen finals and I picked up my idols. One was Jimmy Greaves and the other was Bobby Charlton. He has been in my mind for a long time then I met him at Old Trafford when I became manager, it was a big honour from me and he gets the honour he deserves.

"The Man City game was a must-win situation. When you can give so much energy and will-power until the end, I have to reward every player.

"It is strange, sometimes players feel more pressure at home than away, maybe that is the reason Everton are better away."

"Sir Alex Ferguson was so prominent in saying Louis van Gaal should stay as manager, has that changed the direction and changed the course of the Dutchman's future?

"There are rumours in the newspapers linking Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley with United but I certainly hope that will not be the case.

"Roberto Martinez has been strong in his point this week saying Lukaku will leave when we say so. He is targeting the top four and that is where Everton should really be at.

"The squad has totally under-performed and they should be higher up the table with the players they have."

What of Everton? They've got an FA Cup semi-final to look forward to and armed with the cash of a new owner.

But things in the league aren't going exactly to plan. The Toffees are way off the pace for a top four spot, despite possessing the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Ross Barkley and John Stones in their squad.

Could one, two or all three leave in the summer? Failing to finish in the top half of the table will raise some questions for the club's top players.

"If he makes the top four and wins the FA Cup, Manchester United will struggle to fire Louis van Gaal.

"Making the Champions League is a big ask and they have a chance in the FA Cup, but for whatever reason, the fans are not happy with Van Gaal. It will be interesting to see what happens there in the summer."

    Back in the treble season...

Under-pressure Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal's future at the club is uncertain, with some reports suggesting Jose Mourinho has already agreed to take over next season.

Fergie told Sky Sports:, external "You have to have some patience being a Manchester United fan and they have shown that over the years; in Matt Busby's time, in my time."

The best word to sum up these two side's showing in the Premier League this season is 'underperformed'.

Manchester United lie fifth in the table, in the fight for a Champions League spot, but a massive 16 points behind leaders Leicester.

Everton are in no man's land in 12th place, neither scrapping for survival nor in with a shout for a European spot.

Both clubs have produced flashes of brilliance this season, but will Jekyll or Hyde turn up for them today?
