Scotland 1-0 Denmark
Back come Denmark as Christian Eriksen, with a pitching wedge of a pass, finds Poulsen but his Danish team-mate is thwarted by the back-tracking Kieran Tierney as he's about to pull the trigger.
That could and should've been 1-1 but one of Scotland's two debutants managed to clear in the nick of time.
Quote MessageDaniel Agger is blaming the goalkeeper for not coming for it, but it hadn't even reached the penalty box by the time Matt Ritchie took it. It is a great finish, but a pure mess from the Danish defence.

Scotland 1-0 Denmark
Oh Denmark captain Daniel Agger what have you done? Scotland skipper Scott Brown slides a pass through for the galloping Matt Ritchie. Agger inexplicably leaves the ball for Kasper Schmeichel, enabling Bournemouth's Ritchie to nip and slot the ball home.
Agger looks like he's seen Banquo's ghost at the feast; Schmeichel gives his team-mate a verbal blast.
Scotland are jubilant and a goal to the good.

Scotland force an early corner but the Danes, as the heavens open again, repel the danger. Both sides are showing their attacking intent in the opening exchanges.
"The two debutants [Kieran Tierney and John McGinn] have started really positively."
The Danes attack and dangerman Christian Eriksen shows a lovely piece of skill with a dummy on the edge of the area but the chipped return is just out of reach for the Tottenham midfielder.
A high ball into the Glasgow sky sees Poulsen and Greer contest for possession; the former is penalised for his challenge. Free kick for Scotland. The game has started at a fair pace.

The National Anthems are roared with gusto; Flower of Scotland accompanied by a lone piper perched precariously high on the roof of the stand at the National Stadium.
He doesn't miss a note. What a view he must have up there. Where's the nearest parking space in Mount Florida?
Mercifully, the thunderous rain over Glasgow has eased. The sides trot out to rapturous applause from both sets of supporters. Not long until kick-off now...
