When was the last time that ALL Scotland players played with the TOP teams in Europe? The Danes have nothing to fear on that score!

Brian Laudrup thinks new Denmark coach Age Hareide's change in tactics could help Christian Eriksen realise his full potential at international level.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eriksen impressed the former Rangers and Denmark winger against Iceland.

"He has certainly not hit the heights for the Danish team," said Laudrup.

"But he certainly showed against Iceland he was back to his best, playing one of his best games for the Danish national team in years."

It's a friendly but for us at the moment it's about winning games and getting used to a new system and new style of playing. We saw some clips from the game they played against the Czech Republic; they'll probably change a few players so we don't really know who's going to play.

Listening to tonight's [Sportsound] discussion with increasing despair re: Gordon Greer. We're all in trouble if an Irishman with no football experience talks more sense than a former Scotland international with [thanks for reminding us again Willie] 65 caps.

    Scotland v Denmark (20:00 BST)

Denmark, who missed out on the Euro 2016 finals following a play-off defeat against a Zlatan Ibrahimovic-inspired Sweden, saw off Iceland in a friendly last week.

Morten Olsen, who stepped down following the play-off loss, has been succeeded by Åge Hareide.

The new boss is already tinkering with formations, as Danish legend Brian Laudrup expains: "Mr Hareide changed the system for the game against Iceland, playing with two strikers.

"That's the first time we've seen that in 16 years; playing a more direct football. That's simply [because of] the players we have at the moment."
