Msgr. Matt Albans: If Watford beat Palace today, can I take out a super injunction on the result so nobody knows the score? #askingforafriend

So then, Odion Ighalo... what's gone on there then? Last year you couldn't stop the Watford striker scoring - I should know, he bagged me loads of fantasy footie points on the cheap. Prior to the turn of the year he scored 13 goals in 19 games. Since then... three in 18.
So, have defenders figured him out? Has he taken his eye off the ball? Or is he just struggling due to the Hornets' downturn in form?
He has largely scored his 2016 goals in the cup games (scoring against both Nottingham Forest and Arsenal) so maybe he is saving himself for the big occasions? Like today.

Palace manager Alan Pardew knows a thing or two about winning an FA Cup semi-final. He was front and centre in 1990, scoring the winning goal the last time the club reached the final of the competition.
21 years ago, Pardew headed home the winner to seal a remarkable 4-3 win over Liverpool at Villa Park.
Palace had been turned over 9-0 in the league by Dalglish's Liverpool earlier that season, were without key striker Ian Wright and were clear underdogs against the team that would finish the season as Division One champions.
Do yourself a favour... watch the highlights here.

Watford head coach Quique Sanchez Flores on speculation about his future: "This is the time to talk about Watford, to talk about Watford fans and how important this is for this club.
"It is not the time to talk about me. I can just transmit to the Watford fans that I am completely focused and happy. Watford fans need to know that I am completely happy at Watford."

Robbie Savage
Ex-Wales midfielder on BBC Radio 5 live
"Crystal Palace, only one league win in 2016, made a few changes in midweek for the game at Manchester United, but nobody did themselves any justice really. Adebayor was woeful up front. So you can see why Alan Pardew's gone with that starting XI."

"There's clearly not something right in the Watford camp for these rumours about Flores to be circulating. At the start of the season they were tipped for relegation - look at the job he has done. They are in the FA Cup semi-final. It's ludicrous."

Jermaine Jenas
Ex-Spurs & England midfielder on MOTD2 Extra
"I can't believe there is talk about Flores getting the sack. Watford have had a phenomenal season. If anything I'd be thinking he's done that good a job maybe he'll move on to something better."

While not as dramatic as Palace's turn from the sublime to the ridiculous, Watford have suffered a slump of their own this season.
Newly promoted from the Championship, they ended 2015 seventh in the top flight and would probably have received far more plaudits but for Leicester monopolising all the 'unfancied team done good' headlines.
In 2016, though, the Hornets have had their sting somewhat blunted. They've played 15 Premier League games this year and won just three of them to drop them to 12th.
But they remain more than capable of rising to an occasion, as their last-eight win at Arsenal to end the Gunners' two-year dominance of the FA Cup illustrates.

Until the Premier League win over Norwich two weeks ago, Palace's only wins in 2016 had come in the FA Cup. The impressive victories over Southampton, Stoke, Tottenham and Reading were the shining positives amid the mediocrity, the bits of gold glistening in their pan of river dirt, the Darth Maul in their Phantom Menace.
Alan Pardew's men suffered nine defeats and three draws in 12 league games from the start of the year until 9 April, having won nine and drawn four of 19 matches prior to New Year's Day. They've dropped from the top quicker than Clark Griswold on his lubed-up saucer sled, going from second in August to 16th in April.
Five points from their last four league games looks to have just about steered them clear of relegation and given them a timely boost ahead of today's semi. But today very much depends on which Palace shows up - the 2015 vintage or watered-down 2016?

"It's been a difficult run since Christmas for Palace but the first win a few weeks back was great for them. It's almost been a separate season in the FA Cup. It's brilliant for the club to be there. I know Alan Pardew well and he will be desperate to win some silverware. Hopefully we'll have as good a game as yesterday's other semi-final."

Simon Brotherton
Match of the Day commentator at Wembley
"This is a match that brings back memories of a tense Championship play-off final between the sides three years ago, which was decided in Palace's favour thanks to a Kevin Phillips penalty in extra time.
"This game could be just as tight and looks equally hard to call, not least because both sides have struggled for form since the turn of the year. Palace have won just one of the last 15 in the league, Watford only two more.
"Both Premier League meetings this season resulted in away victories, so at least each set of supporters will turn up feeling they've got a great chance of getting to the final."
BBC Sport takes a look at the records of Crystal Palace and Watford, who are both yet to win the competition, ahead of their FA Cup semi-final on Sunday at Wembley.
