I think Wes Morgan being dragged across Jamie Vardy's kitchen floor in slow motion was my favourite thing from when Leicester City were confirmed Premier League champions.

Noel Gallagher has predicted the outcome, external of this match from inside a tent and he reckons a late equaliser will see Manchester City through to the final.

"I think one of the unsung heroes will score," he said.

He got his prediction bang on for the League Cup final. Will he be on the money again?

Sergio Aguero has not had the best of luck against Real Madrid - he hasn't finished on the winning side in any of his 13 appearances against them.

    Could that change tonight?

Peter, Larne: I think that is City's strongest lineup. We really need a good performance from Toure. Just hope that he is in the mood.

Rob, Edinburgh: Would be funny to see Pep turn up to another team that has just won the Champions League but think Real will be too strong tonight.

It wasn't too long ago that Manchester City were labelled a 'Mickey Mouse club' by some fans of their rivals. Now they're playing in a Champions League semi-final at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Manuel Pellegrini isn't the only connection between these two sides: Steve McManaman transferred from Real Madrid to Manchester City in 2003, while Emmanuel Adebayor went the other way in 2011 on loan.

Javi Garcia went from Spain to England via Benfica and Robinho was City's first big signing under Sheikh Mansour in 2008, costing the Blues £32.5m from the Spanish giants.

Finally, Nicolas Anelka won the 1999-00 Champions League with Real Madrid, before a move to PSG and later Manchester City in 2002.

Can Manuel Pellegrini sign off at Manchester City with a Champions League trophy?

City have won three of their five away games in this season's competition, but Real's stats make for unpleasant reading. They have lost just one of their 29 home games in the competition since 2011.

Pellegrini, though, should have an idea of how best to deal with Real Madrid and Ronaldo given that he managed them from 2009-10.

    Chris Waddle
Former England winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"I like Yaya Toure, he's been fantastic for City but his legs have gone a bit and the way De Bruyne's been playing in the hole, he's been sensational. When you put him on the flank he's not as effective linking up with Sergio Aguero.

"I think Pellegrini should have played somebody else on the left. Maybe Iheanacho."

So can Manchester City do it?

If they are to beat Real Madrid, BBC pundits Danny Murphy and Trevor Sinclair both believe that Yaya Toure will be key.

"I think it is going to be very interesting what City do with David Silva injured," says Murphy. "I'd play Yaya Toure. He is a big game player, he has a point to prove and is probably on his way out.

"If there is ever a game he is up for, it will be this one."

Sinclair added: "He's a big time player, a big game player. I think he will suit this game and rise to the occasion."

"In this city now everyone really wants to see another all-Madrid Champions League final. That's something that's changed in the last 24 hours, after that incredible Atletico performance against Bayern.

"From half a mile out from the ground the streets were lined as the Real team bus arrived. Packed 10 or 12 deep on either side of the road. Now there is quite a lot of pressure on Real to set it up, to make sure it happens."

Let us know how you think today's big name players will be remembered in years to come.

Oscar Huglin: Rooney will unfortunately be remembered as a player who never fulfilled his potential.

karmadrome: Can't see Roo as one of the all-time greats. His league tally is more Defoe than Shearer, and he's scored as many WC goals.
