  1. CLOSE!published at 76 mins

    Germany 0-2 France

Julian Draxler addresses a free-kick some 25 yards out, it's central. Surely not from there - woosh! That was close! Draxler hits it with his instep, all sorts of movement and the ball flies wide.

Mufc Believer: Neuer just had to punch it clear there. Poor from him

The Online Boy: Kante comes on. 10 seconds later, goal. Impact

Jake Entwistle: Wowzers. 2-0 France. Griezmann slowly etching his name into the history books; and perhaps France's on the trophy

  3. YELLOW CARDpublished at 75 mins

    Germany 0-2 France

N'Golo Kante is in the book for a hack at Thomas Muller. Germany are 15 minutes away from a plane home. Premature, in their eyes.

Brilliant shot from Kimmich. Lloris was well beaten. It's not your night, Germany, it's not your night.

  5. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 74 mins

    Germany 0-2 France

Well what an effort that is! Germany are going to need something special to get back into the game and right-back Joshua Kimmich almost finds it, bending a shot with his wrong, left foot, from 20 yards against the crossbar!

  6. 'No way back'published at 21:32 British Summer Time 7 July 2016

    Germany 0-2 France

Again they've soaked up pressure all the second half, France. Paul Pogba with a bit of skill, Neuer flaps at it, and Antoine Griezmann is so confident. He sticks it away, and I can't see Germany coming back now.

  7. 'Goal machine'published at 21:32 British Summer Time 7 July 2016

He's a goal machine. The quality of Paul Pogba to step past a defender with a great bit of skill and Antoine Griezmann is waiting to pull the trigger. He stabs it in, great improvisation.

  8. goal

    Antoine Griezmann

Is that the goal that sends France into the final! It's a sixth of Euro 2016 for Antoine Griezmann and it's actually a scruffy goal in the end.

It comes from a poor touch from Joshua Kimmich in his own penalty area, Paul Pogba dives in to win the ball back and cross, Manuel Neuer then uncharacteristically flaps at it, allowing Griezmann to toe it in through Neuer's legs.

тaif Hazim: Germany are getting desperate, starting to look shaky in the back.won't be surprised by a second goal for France

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

N'Golo Kante on, Dimitri Payet off. If you had just walked into the room after no contact with this game at all, you could still work out the score from that sub.

  11. Postpublished at 70 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

Germany haven't even had a shot on goal since half time. Not one. That first half display was world class, this is just frustrating. Toni Kroos puts in a free-kick which Shkodran Mustafi heads over.

That's more like it, five Germans in the area to attack this cross but the superb Samuel Umtiti blocks at the near post again. He's been immense,

Mario Gotze has a quick word with Mesut Ozil. I think he's going to play up alongside Thomas Muller.

Suddenly Ozil is playing very centrally.

  14. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

Mario Gotze is going right up top, go and find them a goal, that's his mission.

Instead it's France who counter attack well, Dimitri Payet cutting in from the left but scuffing his shot horribly.

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 66 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

Mario Gotze is on, Emre Can off.

'Do you have much experience as a sub then Mario?'

'Well I came on and won the World Cup in Brazil.'

  16. But the one stat that counts...published at 65 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

It's a familiar scene. Germany have been dominating possession, much like they were in the first half - the stats below show how far on top they've been in the last five minutes.

But for all that possession, they're yet to beat France keeper Hugo Lloris, with much of their time on the ball spent away from the danger area

    Germany 0-1 France

At the risk of sounding like an old bore stood behind you on a terrace at a League One ground, where are the bodies in the box?! Germany left-back Jonas Hector has the ball in a great position, but when he looks up the five French bodies in the goalmouth are joined by just one white shirt. He can't thread the needle and it's cleared away.

Germany need to throw more men at this.

Half an hour to go. Germany controlling the game possession wise, but going out as it stands thanks to that Antoine Griezmann penalty on the brink of half time.

They haven't tested Hugo Lloris since half time. That simply must change.

  20. ouch!

    Boateng offpublished at 60 mins

    Germany 0-1 France

This is bad news for Germany, as Jerome Boateng has to be helped down the tunnel with a pinged hamstring. On comes Shkodran Mustafi - who scored in the opening game against Ukraine.
