    Portugal 0-0 France

The last shot on target came in the 33rd minute. When will the next one come? I'm concerned people. I really am.

    I don't want a 0-0 and a shootout. Poor way to end a tournament.

  2. Portugal will be satisfiedpublished at 20:58 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Paris

All very subdued and low-key at the Stade de France but Portugal will be satisfied with how they coped after Cristiano Ronaldo's departure.

Fernando Santos has got a very well-drilled side and they simply went about their business after losing their great superstar.

  3. 'A tame affair'published at 20:53 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Alan Shearer
    Ex-England captain on BBC One

It's been a pretty tame affair. Ronaldo's injury was a big blow to everyone. We want to see the best players. The game is suiting Portugal more than France. Portugal are sitting deep like we expected. There's not been much brilliance to break them down.

  4. CONGESTION IN PARIS. Use other routespublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

The ball has been in midfield for most of the game. If anything it's surprising that 15% of the game has been in France's defensive third.

Garry Griffin enjoyed that half for one. Anyone else?

Garry Griffin: Very good first half. I feel like Portugal will come out a lot more aggressive in the second half. Open the game up more.

Martin Sinclair: The Moths have been most exciting part thus far.

Paul Eaton: Even the players from both sides look flat going off at HT after the Ronaldo injury!

  7. 'This suits Portugal'published at 20:52 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Rio Ferdinand
Former England defender on BBC One

This suits Portugal. Nani may be able to express himself a bit more now Cristiano Ronaldo is off the pitch. France need to be careful. They need width."

  8. Park the bus?published at 20:51 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

I have no idea is this is utterly genuine - it looks it, and I guess these things have to be planned in advance - but this bus may be parked away forever if the second half doesn't perk up.

  9. 'Coman warming up'published at 20:50 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

I think France have to up the tempo.

Deschamps might just tweak it now without that threat up front.

Kingsley Coman has gone straight out for a warm up.

  10. Watch againpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    RONALDO'S INJURY

Cristiano Ronaldo's tournament ends in heartache as he leaves the pitch midway through the first half due to injury. Watch again here.

  11. 'France have lacked cutting edge'published at 20:49 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Chris Waddle
Former England winger at Stade de France on BBC Radio 5 live

I think Deschamps will be a little disappointed.

France have lacked cutting edge in final third. Their tempo has been good, they are up for it and they have got in good areas but haven't made the final pass.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

A half utterly sidetracked by the injury to Cristiano Ronaldo. The quality has been poor.

  13. Postpublished at 45 mins

    Portugal 0-0 France

Another stoppage now as Patrice Evra and Ricardo Quaresma clash heads as they go up for a header. There are two minutes added on at the end of the half, that will now increase.

If Portugal can get to half time they will be delighted.

France started very well with a high tempo and have clearly had the better chances.

  15. Postpublished at 42 mins

    Portugal 0-0 France

Portugal are yet to have an effort on target, France have had three. The second half needs a vast improvement as Mark Clattenburg deals with a flat ball. Symbolic?

  16. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Portugal 0-0 France

The home fans in fine voice still, and this is nothing new for Euro 2016. Twenty-one of the previous 50 games were goalless at half-time.

  17. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Portugal 0-0 France

Nani is now the captain of Portugal and his enterprising run starts a good attack for the men in red, the ball is worked inside to Adrien Silva in a pocket on the edge of the box...but he dallies and the ball is taken from him.

  18. Ronaldo departure having its effectpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer in Paris

The Stade de France, so vibrant at the start, has actually become subdued since Ronaldo went off. Portugal will dig in here. They are resilient, organised and should not be under-estimated.

I think Portugal have looked better since Ronaldo went off.

  20. 'Cedric has to be careful'published at 20:37 British Summer Time 10 July 2016

    Portugal 0-0 France

    Chris Waddle
Former England winger at Stade de France on BBC Radio 5 live

Cedric has got to get a yellow card, he is late and high.

He's now got to be careful because Payet has got the beating of him.
