  1. 'If England lose it'll be a massive embarrassment'published at 20:02 British Summer Time 27 June 2016

    England 0-0 Iceland

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on BBC Radio 5 live

I'll be very, very surprised if England don't win this game 2-0, 3-1. Iceland have done very well but they have a limited pool of players to pick from. If England don't win this game then it will be a massive embarrassment.

England kick it out straight from kick-off. Wallop. Roy Hodgson catches the ball and gets the game going again as England look to make a flying start. Kyle Walker bombs on and puts in a low cross which is hacked out.

I saw England assistant Gary Neville pull midfielder Eric Dier earlier and make a 'v shape' - almost saying when the two central defenders go wide then for him to sit in the middle.

Shaun: With a squad size of 23 you can make 1,352,078 starting XIs. And that includes playing 3 keepers at once. From a Maths teacher

Tremendous maths. I'm very much taking your word for it.

I have to say that with some of the reaction on 5 live and social media you'd be forgiven for thinking that England had picked Roger Sterling on the wing, not Raheem Sterling...

I want to see England's widemen hog the touchline and play really wide. I'd like it on both sides of the pitch. We will dominate possession. Raheem Sterling is in the team for a reason - every time you go one on one you have to go for it. He shouldn't worry about losing it.
