  4. Hull fail to sell ticket allocationpublished at 15:57 British Summer Time 28 May 2016

Hull City v Sheffield Wednesday (17:00 BST)

You may spot a few empty seats at Wembley today after Hull City failed to sell their full 38,956 ticket allocation.

A Football League spokesman said: “With ticket sales for Saturday’s Championship play-off final having now ceased, it has been confirmed that a number of tickets from Hull City’s allocation have remained unsold, meaning that there will be empty spaces in the crowd.

“As with previous matches at Wembley, it isn’t always possible to make all of one club’s unsold tickets available to fans of their opponent, as the stadium’s safety certificate requires supporters to be separated at the turnstiles and on the concourses, as well as in the stadium bowl itself."

    Adam Williams
    BBC Sport at Wembley

"The press room at Wembley two hours before kick-off is a hive of conversation and speculation about what's ahead.

"Opinion seems pretty split among the assembled press pack about who might come out on top in this one.

"One thing is for certain, the playing surface looks an absolute picture while the weather couldn't be better.

"Sunshine and not too warm, there's a throng of expectant fans already gathered outside who can't wait for kick-off to come round."

After nine months of another fascinating Championship season, it all comes down to this.

One game of football will settle the final promotion spot.

One of either Hull City or Sheffield Wednesday will be joining the riches of the top flight, with trips to the Olympic Stadium and an expanding Anfield among the away days to come.

The other is set for another year in the second tier - a second tier that will be feverishly competitive, with Rafa Benitez's Newcastle United and Nigel Pearson's Derby County among the many, many contenders for promotion.

    Thanks Olly!

Well, the 2016-17 season is set to be quite some year in the Premier League:

    Leicester City, the defending champions.

Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, Pep Guardiola at Manchester City, Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.

Oh, and the small matter of £1.712bn in television rights over the course of the season, for the 20 clubs to share...

Who will be joining the party - Hull City or Sheffield Wednesday? We will find out over the next few hours.
