    Norwich 4-2 Watford

Will you miss the yellow and generally bright-natured spirit of Norwich City in the Premier League?

Even now Carrow Road is a picture of colour. Like Delia's "where are you" moment there's a defiance to Norwich right now, it's like they don't believe they are going down and so begins another attack. Injury time, get one more look at top-tier action in East Anglia for another year ladies and gents.

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

    Kevin Kilbane
Ex-Everton winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"Great achievement for Sam Allardyce, turning Sunderland's fortunes around. He has come in and lifted the club spirits. For Roberto Martinez it is another really poor season and there will be a lot of questions asked of him this weekend."

Newcastle United in the Championship. Not since 2010 has that been a reality.

The one-club city doesn't half make hard work of football does it? So much potential, such wonderful support, a certain romance, it counts for little at moments like this.

And what about Rafa Benitez? Will he walk away now?

Sunderland, I have no doubt we will be here again next year. Relegation battles, they are the essence of life to you guys aren't they?

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

We have a streaker at Sunderland wearing only a Sunderland flag on his shoulders.

One of those moments where a commentator says something like "we don't want to see that."

    Norwich 4-2 Watford

Nathan Ake is in the book for Watford, he chopped the legs from under Dieumerci Mbokani there, a real reducer.

Still Norwich attack and try to give this loyal following of their something to feed off. I doubt anything is going to appease their sadness in work tomorrow.

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

Looking at this Everton side, what does the future hold for Romelu Lukaku and Kevin Mirallas.

The latter has had just 32 touches so far, that's the lowest of any Everton player who started. He's been tidy on the ball, completing 92% of his passes but is Roberto Martinez getting enough out of him?

Everton generally have played 516 passes to 298 by the home side. There's just no conviction to what the Merseyside club are doing.

He arrived in the January transfer window from Lokomotiv Moscow for £13.5m.

But Oumar Niasse has played just 152 minutes and started just two Premier League games for the Toffees.

The Senegal forward is on the bench, waiting, lurking, earning well and prompting a lot of scratching of a lot of heads.

    Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Danie Sturridge wriggles some space 12 yards out and drives one low and hard, great save at his near post by Asmir Begovic.

  9. Ouch!published at 75 mins

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

Vito Mannone with one for the cameras as he catches Gareth Barry's header. Sunderland are hardly sitting back here, Patrick van Aanholt is in the Everton area and cannot quite pull the ball back for Jermain Defoe who was begging for a tap in.

It looks like Leighton Baines is going to have to go off with a knock.

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

Still Sunderland are full of running, chasing Joel Robles as he gets set to clear. This game is over but Sunderland aren't treating it that way. What about at Anfield? Can Chelsea seal things? Eden Hazard shoots and forces a save from Simon Migonlet. What can I bring you from Norwich? Not a lot, Watford are on the beach somewhere, Norwich are thinking about an away trip to Blackburn next season.

    Liverpool 0-1 Chelsea

Chelsea are playing some nice stuff at Anfield as Willian and Cesc Fabregas link across midfield. Liverpool are attacking the Kop End now which of course sometimes brings an extra few percent and Daniel Sturridge is hacked down by Cesar Azpilicueta.

A good area from which to cross but the delivery will evade everyone.

Who had 66 minutes in the sweep? Lee Cattermole is booked for a trip.

In comes the free-kick and Ramiro Funes Mori gets up to head at the top corner... terrific save from Vito Mannone.

  14. GREAT SAVE!published at 66 mins

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

Jermain Defoe with a classic Jermain-Defoe-style hit. Instinctive from 18 yards, a good parry from Joel Robles. Sunderland could have five by now.

    Sunderland 3-0 Everton

So let's back track a moment - just as Wes Hoolahan fires high and wide at Carrow Road.

Let's be clear, Newcastle United are going down. Norwich City are going down. Two of the more extreme trips in terms of their geographical location are disappearing from the Premier League.

Sunderland have been very good. Rock solid, ruthless and generally energetic, exactly what you need at this stage of the season.

Goals galore and now another game back under way. Ten goals in three games tonight so far. We may make 20 at this rate.

Norwich 4-2 Watford - Dieumerci Mbokani

Now that they're relegated Norwich want to score goals like this. Nathan Redmond is playing like Pele, Dieumerci Mbokani is showing the footwork of Maradona.

Redmond waits for the perfect chance to slip a ball through a defender's legs and into the path of Mbokani who waits for some movement from the keeper and scoops it over him.

Sunderland 3-0 Everton - Lamine Kone

The goal machine that is Lamine Kone is at it again. He's on a hat-trick and the way tonight is going, he may end up getting it, this is full-throttle stuff.

Kone is on hand from three yards to slam in after a corner almost goes straight in. Joel Robles palms it straight to him. Fill your boots son.

Newcastle fans go to bed. Everton fans go to bed. A shambles.

  20. CLOSE!published at 55 mins

    Sunderland 2-0 Everton

It must be three for Sunderland? No, off the line by Matthew Pennignton. Jermain Defoe lobbed Joel Robles after a long ball downfield and the young defender slid to hack away, wiping out John Stones in the process.
