Sweden have come off the pace but they are controlling the ball, waiting for their opportunity. 

Ireland are sitting deep now.

Shane Long is now up front on his own. He'll have to get through some work now as James McClean slots in on the left. Long miscontrols the ball, and he will need some support if Ireland want to make further inroads.

Watch again as Sweden's Emil Forsberg somehow misses the target from eight yards out. 

Martin Olsson, who completes the Norwich trio on the pitch, has been very impressive down the left wing and he has the ball again. He pings over a cross towards Zlatan, but it's just a bit too high for the self-styled legend, who is offside. And then he is offside twice more. 

Legendary. 

Jon Walters is now off. He came into the game with an Achilles problem and has done a sterling job. James McClean on in his place. 

"Can he keep his head?" Mark Lawrenson asks. 

Naughty. Victor Lindelof puts out an arm and catches Jon Walters clean in the nose. Only a yellow card, though. 

Referees have been lenient at the European Championship so far, I don't think that has been an issue. Better than cards everywhere, and the players seem to have responded. Very little dissent or diving.

Sweden have started asking questions. The two full backs are getting forward and everyone is pressing higher. 

He was unlucky there Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

And it almost brings an instant reward. Martin Olsson strolls down the left, clips a cross to Zlatan, but under pressure and falling back, his volley is curled around the post.

I expected the net to bulge, there.

Ireland have played Zlatan Ibrahimovic very well so far.

More danger for Ireland as the ball is delivered high to Zlatan this time. He heads back across goal but no-one is there. Breathe, Ireland, breathe.

Ireland starting to live on a knife edge. The ball is crossed in low to Zlatan, but he can't get his feet right and John O'Shea closes down the space. 

Irish fans are cheering every free-kick won now. Mark Lawrenson is right when he says that their team need to slow the game down.

The noise has gone through the roof here in Paris and the game is already starting to open up after Hoolahan's super opener.

The most decisive thing Zlatan Ibrahimovic has done so far is demand the ball for the restart after the Irish scored.

As a spectacle, this promises to get better and better.

I can't believe how Sweden have turned the pace up. Why didn't they play like this from the beginning?

Sweden pressurise the Irish goal again, nervous times for their fans. Robbie Brady leads a crucial counter attack and Wes Hoolahan then wins a free-kick. Nice play lads. 

From one end we have silence.....
