Chelsea manager Antonio Conte speaking to BBC Sport: "My reflections about the game are very clear. We must pay attention every moment of the game and about details. In big games, the details change the result. 

"Today we conceded the goals in a strange way. They took the free-kick quickly [for the first] and after a throw-in it was a great shot from a long distance but if we are in the right position he must not receive the ball unmarked.

"When you want to think like a great team you must pay attention in every moment what happens on the pitch.

"We played with good intensity and anger in the second half. We scored a goal and could have scored another with Diego Costa. We played a good second half.

"I must work more to improve my players. Defeats are never good. We know this, we must work and keep our concentration."

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp speaking to BBC Sport: "It was really good, the start to the game was brilliant. We created moments and were quick in mind. We needed a lifetime goal from Jordan Henderson and it was deserved.

"We were well organised in second half. After we conceded the first goal, I can't remember a Chelsea chance. 

"We defended well and I was really happy with our possibilities today after leaving Roberto Firmino out."

Chelsea defender David Luiz to Sky Sports: "We controlled the second half but we couldn’t get the second goal.

"I’m very happy to be here again. It’s very important to play these games, the best kind of games in the world. I’m a bit sad because we didn’t start how I wished. We need to improve."

John Southworth: I can understand not making changes simply because you are loosing but we were awful from start to finish. Very strange. 

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to Sky Sports: "It was satisfying of course. From the first second we had unbelievably good movement.  We were quick in mind. We did really well. We deserved the lead at half-time.

"We have to learn how to manage the game plan. So often this season Chelsea scored in the last few seconds with a direct style. But I can’t remember too many chances from them. We had a few moments where we weren’t so good but that’s normal against a good team.

"We played football like hell. It was really nice to watch. In the second half it was a bit more difficult. After their goal, we managed it well."

On Jordan Henderson's goal: "It was nice, really nice. He’s such a hard worker, it was well deserved. He’s such a nice lad. There’s a lot of pressure on his shoulders."

Dejan Lovren speaking to Sky Sports: "It is always a tough game here but I thought we did brilliantly. In the first half, I thought it was our best football of the season. 

"It's always good to score but the most important thing is the three points. The spirit is perfect so we just need to keep working."

Jurgen Klopp is the first manager to win his opening two visits to Stamford Bridge in the Premier League since Arsene Wenger and only the fourth manager overall to do so along with Mike Walker and Harry Redknapp.

Jordan Henderson speaking to Sky Sports: "It keeps our momentum going. We have been training well and I had a good feeling going into the game. We knew it would be difficult as Chelsea are a good side but I thought we defended well and deserved the three points. 

"It was about time I got a goal but I always say the most important thing is the three points."

Chelsea haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last seven home Premier League games against Liverpool, last doing so in October 2009.

Jordan Henderson at least manages to avoid 'luckily it went in' when describing his wonder strike. But he instead goes for 'thankfully it went in.'

Antonio Conte will have learnt there is still a lot of work to do within his squad. They didn't have anywhere near the amount of possession you'd expect them to have. 

Diego Costa had little supply and there will be areas of their attacking play they will be looking to improve. 

It was a scintillating Liverpool display and it's hard to pick holes in the Chelsea defensively.

There's been some question marks over Liverpool's defending over last few years but Matip and Lovren have answered all questions tonight - they have been solid in that back four. 

Liverpool are looking very good. Based on tonight's performance, they will certainly be up there. As impressive as they passed the ball, it was the strength they showed at the end to hold on which stood out for me. 

It was a complete display but it's whether they can maintain that. It seems like they thrive on these big occasions but let's see if they can do it week-in week-out.

Is there anyone out there who dislikes Jurgen Klopp? So charismatic and his players clearly love playing for him.
