Paul Hawkins: West Ham are going to get smashed when they play any team with a decent strike force. They are useless at the back.

You have to say to the fans who left 10, 12 or 15 minutes early made a good decision. Can you blame them? They had seen enough. It's a massive job on for Slaven Bilic now. The big problem is they are disjointed and concede goals. When players like Lanzini and Payet, who were great last season, perform like that they are in trouble. Zaza? He was pathetic. They need to snap out of it and quickly.

The players have a responsibility to provide the energy, passion and drive to get this crowd up. There might be teething problems with the stadium but the team on the pitch are not helping. We can make excuses about off-the-pitch stuff but the players have a responsibility to do better.

West Ham have one win and three points all season. They are in the very early relegation zone as Southampton climb to ninth position.

Disjointed is an understatement. Fraser Forster hasn't had a save to make - he'll be able to get straight on the bus. He won't need a shower! It's dark days for West Ham and I can't remember such an abject performance. They had a big chance to put it right but they are in disarray. The scoreline didn't flatter Southampton one little bit.

The only fans inside the ground are wearing the red and white of Southampton. That away end has seen a very good second-half display.

No surprises that Southampton have got a third. This second half they have had so many chances and James Ward-Prowse can believe his luck. It's been quite frankly embarrassing from West Ham. It's not a crisis at West Ham but Slaven Bilic has some major surgery to do.

Four minutes added on. Call it off now. 

A change to kill some more of the clock, though Southampton don't need to. Cuco Martina replaces Cedric Soares, who has impressed this afternoon. 

Mark Ferguson: What has happened to West Ham this season, looked unbeatable last season and now they look weak as hell. 

Si's Insights: If it stays this way, it's really beginning to click for Puel. Two wins and possibly two clean sheets after a dodgy start. 

Loudly Curious: As soon as England get a manager who might give him a chance, Mark Noble goes walkabout. Shame.

So much space in that West Ham backline as James Ward-Prowse lashes in a drive from 16 yards and Adrian pushes it out. Then a great save to deny Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Adrian! What a stop. 

It is beyond West Ham now. Surely? They have had their brightest moments since falling 2-0 behind but Southampton could have had four or five, quite easily, on another day.

I have never been at a stadium where the score is 2-0 and so many fans are leaving with 10 minutes to go. If anything now it looks like Southampton will get a third.

He got hold of that! Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg lashes in a long-range strike which fizzes past the post and takes a cameraman clean out.

West Ham replace captain Mark Noble with Edimilson Fernandes. 

Southampton goalscorer Dusan Tadic is replaced as the visitors look to see this one out. On comes James Ward-Prowse. Plenty of Hammers fans choose that moment to leave.

Brilliant last-ditch defending from Winston Reid to deny Dusan Tadic. With 15 minutes to go West Ham are finally playing with some intensity, though.

And now West Ham go close! So many chances in this second half. Dimitri Payet is at the forefront for the hosts, cutting the ball back across goal, it's not dealt with and Simone Zaza's toe-poke is hacked off the line by Virgil van Dijk.

Saints counter and Dusan Tadic is almost in on goal...
