    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Again, Southampton should have a tap in as this time it's Nathan Redmond in behind but shooting from a tight angle instead of squaring for Shane Long.

That's three times now they've made the wrong decision inside the penalty area. Training sorted for Tuesday.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 74 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Charlie Austin has scored one and made one but he's off, as Shane Long comes on. The West Ham defence has been so shaky that you'd back Long to nip through at least once in the final 15 minutes or so.

I don't think you can give a penalty for that. Bertrand blocks it but he knows nothing about the ball hitting him. His arms are in a natural position and for me it's the right decision from Jon Moss. It's better from West Ham now, there is more intensity and intent. Payet finally starting to get into the game.

And now Dimitri Payet curls a shot just wide from 20 yards after a good cut-back from Michail Antonio. He's playing at right-back now. West Ham much more in the game now.

    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Best attack for West Ham all day and is that a penalty?! No!

Dimitri Payet has a shot blocked from the left, sub Sofiane Feghouli blasts it back in and it hits Ryan Bertrand on both hands! He turned his back on it, not deliberate, but you see then given more often than not...

That's really greedy from Steven Davis. He could have just laid it off to Charlie Austin and he would have had the easiest of chances. That should have been 3-0.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 71 mins

    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Young striker Ashley Fletcher is the man West Ham turn to. He replaces Havard Nordtveit.

Pista Bacs: West Ham on course to have the nicest stadium in the Championship next season.

David McNaught: Will West Ham’s Olympic stadium be the biggest and shiniest in the Championship?

Phil Carney: West Ham were asked by Leyton Orient to groundshare last year. At this rate, they'll be asking Orient for a groundshare.

    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

I repeat myself, but it should be 3-0! West Ham's defending is the worst the Premier League has seen since - well, yesterday afternoon from Chelsea.

Again Steven Davis is clean through on goal as West Ham's backline hesitates. His shot is eventually blocked but he had Charlie Austin open for a tap-in. The Saints could have four or five.

It's a shocking display from a West Ham side which gave us such excitement last season.

Virgil van Dijk has been excellent today but he blots his copybook with a booking for smashing into Sofiane Feghouli.

Jon Spurling: Southampton so comfortable that Van Dijk will start doing dodgy cockney accents and singing songs about Mary Poppins.

Chris Wright: It's going from bad to worse for West Ham. I sense a possible sacking for Slaven Bilic soon!

Ian Brennan: The best way to describe West Ham's defenders in that goal is lazy. Slow to move out, strolling along with no desire

West Ham have gone here, mentally shot as Ryan Bertrand advances unchecked a good 40 yards down the left and finds Steven Davis to blast just over the top. Should be three!

West Ham are all over the place. Adrian comes flying out, misses the ball and leaves Dusan Tadic with the easiest of chances. Adrian has gambled and he's gambled poorly. You just can't see West Ham getting back into this game in any way shape or form. I think you could have driven a London bus through that West Ham defence.

    West Ham 0-2 Southampton

Southampton look like a good side all of a sudden, real zip and purpose to their passing. West Ham, meanwhile, have conceded 15 goals in their opening six games of a top-flight season for the first time since 1988-89.

    The crowd has turned.

GOAL - West Ham 0-2 Southamptonpublished at 62 mins

    Dusan Tadic

A goal and now an assist for Charlie Austin as Southampton double their lead! West Ham's defence is all over the place but let's give some credit too as Austin plays a delicious through-ball first time, Dusan Tadic is clean through and goes around Adrian without touching the ball, a drop of the hips enough, and he's able to walk it in.

    Like Pele. But successful.

For the second time this afternoon Simone Zaza wants a penalty after throwing himself down, for the second time referee Jon Moss isn't interested.

    This time he books Zaza.

Dimitri Payet looks a shadow of the player from last season. Ok, he scored a free-kick against Accrington, but who are they?

Dimitri Payet does cross it in but Virgil van Dijk is there again to head it away. Head on a stick.
