It's a win for Leicester on their Champions League debut. It may have been only Club Brugge, but they have gone away from home in a new competition and won emphatically. Hugely impressive stuff.

I did wonder why Spurs spent £30m on Moussa Sissoko on transfer deadline day. Well, he's got 10 minutes to show us.
He replaces Eric Dier. Can he conjure something special out of the north London sky?
Also, Radamel Falcao comes off for Monaco. A bigger bust than most nights down the casinos of Monte Carlo. There are some things you can't shake off. The aging process and a knackered knee have left Falcao a shadow of the man who was one of Europe's best just a few years back.

Demarai Gray almost makes an immediate impression as he latches on to a long, raking pass and charges at a stretched Club Brugge defence. He opens up a bit of space for himself just inside the area and shoots, but sends it over. Should have got it on target at least.

The strikers link up well again - Leicester are on to something with their '4-4-2' formation you know. Vincent Janssen makes something out of nothing by manhandling Jemerson off the ball and then finds Harry Kane in the area.
One touch and smash it - but it's weak and easy for Danijel Subasic to gather in.

It's been coming and it had to be that man Sergio Aguero, who completes his hat-trick.
The goal comes from clever play by Raheem Sterling as places a pass perfectly into Aguero's path. The striker than wrongfoots Yann Sommer before rolling the ball into the empty net.

Spurs need a lift, it's all gone flat and predictable. If I may be so bold, it's boring in fact. Monaco don't look concerned at all about the Tottenham pattern of play at the moment.
Mauricio Pochettino does shift it about, as on comes Vincent Janssen. Dashingly handsome but yet to score for Spurs. He replaces Erik Lamela.
