    Club Brugge 0-2 Leicester

Islam Slimarni goes in the book after basically shoving Bjorn Engels into his own keeper as he attempted to chase a ball forward. Engels falls awkwardly and looks to have dislocated his shoulder. Ouch.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 45 mins

    Tottenham 1-2 Monaco

Mousa Dembele is a half-time change for Spurs, he comes on in the place of Son Heung-min. And he gets a phenomenal reception too. Change of shape, Christian Eriksen will move out wide.

    Club Brugge 0-2 Leicester

Fast start to the second half by Club Brugge as Luis Hernandez stabs a cross out for a corner. Ruud Vormer takes it, sending the ball in deep to Stefano Denswil, but the defender heads wide.

Leicester need to be careful. An early goal for the hosts and they could come under a fair bit of pressure.

Kelechi Iheanacho is warming up for Manchester City. Could he come on for Sergio Aguero? Seems a bit pointless risking the Argentina striker for the second half after his injury scare in the first half.

What a fabulous 45 minutes of football! Spurs came out of the traps well but were cruelly punished for a couple of lapses in concentration.

It looked tough but they showed spirit to get that goal at the end and they can go again now. The crowd will be lifted, we have some second half to look forward to.

    Tottenham 1-2 Monaco

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

How desperately did Spurs need that goal from Toby Alderweireld? They had lost their way and Wembley was growing increasingly restless - now it is all perfectly set up for the second half.

The goal has changed the mood completely and Spurs left the field at half-time to thunderous applause.

Which members of the England squad are having a good season?

Bark Pamphlet: Adam Lallana is playing very well. No Euros hangover for that lad.

Drew Thorpe: Yeah, the one who got the most stick, Raheem Sterling.

Neil Cain: Stones and Sterling have excelled under Pep after an underwhelming summer with England

    Tottenham 0-2 Monaco

Spurs are rudderless, as Monaco can just sit and contain that two-goal lead. It's all gone a bit quiet at Wembley, understandably.

Mauricio Pochettino needs the mother of all half-time team talks tonight.

Oh my word, almost one of the great Champions League goals as Danny Drinkwater hits a sweet volley from the edge of the box after a Riyad Mahrez corner that Ludovic Butelle just manages to tip over.

It doesn't seem that long ago that Drinkwater was knocking passes about for Huddersfield against Carlisle in League One. Come a long way has that lad.

Championship latestpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 14 September 2016

Another goal in the Championship as Rotherham take the lead against Nottingham Forest.

Jon Taylor is the main man, firing a lot shot past Forest goalkeeper Vladimir Stojkovic.

Taylor and Danny Ward, within 60 seconds of the restart, actually both waste chances to instantly double the lead too.
