We rode our luck a little bit there.

The keeper will feel disappointed but hopefully that will settle us down.

Robert Lewandowski - or LewanGOALski as Bayern Munich like to call him - has just opened the scoring for Poland against Denmark, turning home Kamil Grosicki's cross from close range.

It was the first time we got around the back. Ferguson left the defender for dead.

It was certainly a foul on Magennis.

It's all out attack for Northern Ireland. Gareth McAuley (4) and Jonny Evans (5) are the only two outfield players to have spent most of the game inside their own half.

Meanwhile, Mattia Stefanelli (9) is the only San Marino player to have regularly ventured outside his own half.

    Northern Ireland 0-0 San Marino

San Marino have a free-kick about 25 yards out. Matteo Vitaioli fancies his chances, but his effort doesn't dip anywhere near enough and it's over the bar.

That's one shot each now, both off target. Not as comfortable as the hosts would want/expect maybe.

A quarter of an hour gone and Germany are ahead against the Czech Republic. Thomas Muller bags the opener, firing into the bottom corner from Mesut Ozil's pass.

That's the only goal to bring from the rest of Europe's games. A cautious start to the evening.

Predictably, it's all one-way traffic in Belfast so far as Northern Ireland pile on the pressure and the fans react by making even more noise.

The newly constructed stadium could have been sold out two or three times for this game, such was the interest generated by the team's exploits in France.

There is a feeling that a first goal is not far away and it would be a welcome one for Michael O'Neill's charges.

Northern Ireland have failed to score in five of their last six games, the one exception being that all-important 2-0 win over Ukraine which sealed a place in the last 16 of the Euros.

Josh Magennis flicks a cross on and Steven Davis runs onto it but the San Marino keeper is quick enough to get the ball before Davis can reach it.

The minnows will be happy enough with how this has gone so far.

The visitors appear happy to pack their half and invite Scotland onto them. The hosts oblige and Oliver Burke tries to play in Robert Snodgrass but the Hull City man, who scored a hat-trick against Malta last month, is thwarted by the offside flag.
