Am I allowed to breathe now? It was pinball in the box for a second!

England are very unlucky not to be a goal up there.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 52 mins

    Scotland 0-0 England

Post! Jake Livermore hits a shot from the edge of the area, it comes off the ankles of a Scotland defender and hits the post, the rebound almost falls for Dele Alli and he just can't sort his feet out quickly enough.

England do look a touch off the pace. Half sharp. Tired at the end of the season? A familiar tale.

I can feel a bit of nervousness from both teams in the early stages of this half - more so from Scotland.

The passing hasnt been as zippy or crisp as we have seen in in recent times.

It is as if nobody want to make a mistake but that's not good enough - Scotland have to take chances.

  4. Kirby doubles leadpublished at 18:10 British Summer Time 10 June 2017

HT: Switzerland women 0-2 England women

England women are 2-0 up after 40 minutes in their friendly with Switzerland as Fran Kirby races on to a ball over the top and calmly rounds the keeper before stroking home.

    And that's half-time.

  5. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Scotland 0-0 England

Most of England's best bits have come through Adam Lallana and again he drops a shoulder and opens up space. Marcus Rashford threatens to run in behind momentarily but he takes a poor touch and the door is closed on him.

  6. Postpublished at 47 mins

    Scotland 0-0 England

Nice build-up from Scotland as Stuart Armstrong slides one down the side for Andrew Robertson, but he can't get a cross over and Kyle Walker sees him out.

  7. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Scotland 0-0 England

Scotland were pressing England instantly at the start of the game and they start the second half in similar fashion, causing Chris Smalling to miscue a pass and Gary Cahill has to bale him out.

Scotland started well and put England under a phenomenal amount of pressure. The pace was blistering.

However, as that tailed off, I hoped England's quality would show through but having had three weeks off, they look a little rusty.

  10. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Scotland 0-0 England

Not the best game so far but still a top-rate atmosphere.

Scotland send on James McArthur for James Morrison. Not sure that will add to the goal threat! Away we go.

Johnny Magrinho: Same old England. Playing ineffectual football yet again to make the opposition look better than they are. Disappointing.

Nick Hughes: This is dire. England have approached this with an arrogance that the Scots would be a walk-over, now they're clueless.

Ethan: To all those complaining about how boring this #SCOENG game is... It's England. Do you really expect a 5 goal thriller?

    Stuart Elliott

I think Northern Ireland will bring on the likes of Kyle Lafferty and, who knows, with his height and strength he could get on the end of something and get a goal. Three points would be wonderful but 0-0 would not be a disastrous result for Michael O'Neill.

  17. Nobbs opens scoringpublished at 17:57 British Summer Time 10 June 2017

    Switzerland women 0-1 England women

England's women are a goal to the good in their friendly with Switzerland - it's a decent one too.

Jordan Nobbs, from the left edge of the area, hits a dipping shot into the far corner with half an hour gone.

  18. 'Scotland have played really well'published at 17:57 British Summer Time 10 June 2017

    Scotland 0-0 England

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

I think Scotland have played really well here. They really got in England's faces but the pace has been hard on a few of their players. They knew this high tempo was only going to last 15-20 minutes.

When Scotland commit bodies forwards and then lose the ball, that's when England should have exploited them but they don't seem to be doing that.
