Northern Ireland must be such a frustrating team to play against because they are just so good at the art of defending and let's not forget they're without Gareth McAuley and Craig Cathcart tonight. Lots and lots of Czech possession in this second half but all to no avail so far.

Steven Davis is waiting for Josh Magennis to be onside and eventually plays the ball with the NI striker immediately flagged off. Had he timed his run properly, that would have been a one-on one with the keeper.

England have been fantastic in the second half. They have pressed and harried and won the ball back early. In Rashford, Kane, Alli and Oxlade-Chamberlain they have players with the arrogance to believe they can go on and score more.

The Czechs have a corner, with Marek Suchy's effort being easily saved by Michael McGovern. Kyle Lafferty is warming up...

Slovakia send on Albert Rusnak and Michal Duris, we have 22 minutes left in the second half. England were very good from minute 45 to Marcus Rashford's goal, since going ahead they have sat back a bit.

Czech defender Jan Boril takes a foul throw-in, which is penalised. You don't see that too often. It's not going to be their day.

The Czechs make their final change. Attacking midfielder Borek Dockal, who plays in the Chinese Super League, comes on for defender Filip Novak.

The Slovakia fans are still singing and waving their flags but it is the England supporters who are happier now. The visitors are about to make some substitutions though. I think they still believe they can get something from this game.

As is always the way in football, England have dropped off since taking the lead and there are a few nerves again in the Wembley stands. Marcus Rashford's pace is a weapon on the break though and he is nudged to the deck. No foul? No.

The Czech Republic are starting to leave gaps at the back as they gamble. Stuart Dallas is almost in on goal from the left wing, out of nothing, but the final red jersey in the centre halts his progress.

Dele Alli and Marcus Rashford link up well once more but the Spurs man's shot is deflected away. This is far from vintage stuff from Gareth Southgate's side but if they can get away from this game with a win they will be absolutely delighted. They were so, so bad in the first 30 minutes or so.

A Slovak free-kick ends up at the feet of Tomas Hubocan and he smashes it over the bar.

Aaron Hughes, with his 10,000 years of international experience, clears a ball before Michael McGovern can come for it. But had he left it, there was a chance a Czech player could have nipped in. Less than half an hour to go now.
