Better play from England at the start of the half as Dele Alli plays a neat one-two with Marcus Rashford, he gets into the area and works it across goal - Jordan Henderson shanks wide!

    Lovely touch from Rashford.

BBC Radio 5 live at Windsor Park

It's another one of those special nights at Windsor Park when 11 players and 18,000 passionate fans link up as an irresistible force.

The Czech Republic have had plenty of possession and passed the ball nicely but have created very little and Northern Ireland have created the decisive moments from set-pieces - Jonny Evans' header coming from Chris Brunt's corner which was only partially cleared and Chris Brunt curling in a beauty of a free-kick.

The runner-up spot looks a certainty and no team will fancy a trip to Windsor Park in the play-offs.

A draw here would leave England two points clear at the top of Group F with two games to go. Every cloud and all that.

Kyle Walker is a very lucky man having seen that last-minute challenge once again. He was the last defender and he could easily have been sent-off there.

BBC Sport NI's Richard Petrie at Windsor Park: "That moment of set-piece magic from Chris Brunt will make the half-time snacks taste that little bit sweeter for the vast majority of the 18,000 plus crowd inside the stadium.

"Brunt has more reason than most to want to qualify for next year's finals, having missed last year's Euro 2016 adventure through injury."

  10. Relief for Englandpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 4 September 2017

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Wembley

England were utterly dreadful for most of that first 45 minutes - they will settle for going in level.

Ryan Giggs tells ITV that Slovakia 'were better in every single department' in that first half and you can't really argue with that.

England ended the half slightly better, but that's not saying much.

It is something you dream about.

Defended maybe too much, but took the opportunity when they came.

In the dressing room, I would be saying 'we have only conceded against Germany, keep it that way'.

The game is over, you are in the play-offs so keep doing the simple things well.

    Phil Neville
Former Everton & Man Utd defender on BBC Radio 5 live

You saw in the last 15 minutes an England team that was exciting. We were poor in the first quarter but then it clicked. If we play like that in the second half we will win by two or three.

They have to play the English way, running over the top of the Slovakian midfield.

Well played Kyle Walker! It had to be too as he made up plenty of ground to stop Vladimir Weiss in his tracks as the winger looked to be in on goal!

On second viewing that was a foul! England lucky, again.

A phenomenal effort of taking their chances when they came as Northern Ireland can almost taste second spot in this group. The Czechs need three goals in the second half to keep their World Cup hopes alive.
