West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)

The PA system is certainly on point as a voice booms "welcome WEST HAM UNITEDDD" before the Hammers players wander back out on to the pitch. Probably startled a few fans tucking into their half-time pies.

    NK Maribor 0-0 Aberdeen

Still goalless in the other Europa League third-round qualifier between NK Maribor and Aberdeen in Slovenia. The Dons have to score after a 1-1 draw in the home leg.

Just under half an hour to go in that one. Follow it here.

West Ham's first game at the Boleyn Ground - back in 1904 - ended in a 3-0 win for the Hammers against Millwall.

Billy Bridgeman was described in newspapers at the time as scoring a  "capital goal".

They also called him "dashing centre-forward". Not sure if Cheikhou Kouyate will get a similar description in the papers tomorrow, but he is on course to be the man in the headlines after his first-half display at the London Stadium.

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

BBC Sport's Sam Merton at the Rio FanZone: "The crowd here in Praça Mauá has filled up nicely as the sun starts to set. All sorts are here: families, couples and young men sipping the local brew, watching Neymar's boys struggle to get into gear in Brasilia. So far goalkeeper Weverton is drawing widespread consternation for his efforts - not popular with the young lads behind me for sure."

Neymar draws an excellent save with a crisp strike. You can follow the action here.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:37

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

Almost a goal for the hosts as Felipe Anderson lets fly with a long-range volley that narrowly misses.

Up at the other end, the superbly named Dolly Keagan continues to impress.

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

Past the midway point in the opening half and South Africa have arguably been the more dangerous side.

They went fairly close early on, while Brazil have not really troubled Khune Itumeleng. Brazil keeper Weverton, in contrast, has already spilled an easy cross.

Oh hold on, Neymar has just forced a good save.

West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)

The atmosphere rises and falls in the stadium. At times it is pretty quiet, despite more than 50,000 fans in attendance, but then some determined Hammers fans strike up a chant and it sounds lively again.

  12. CLOSE!published at 35 mins

West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)

Nearly a third for West Ham and Cheikhou Kouyate! The Hammers break quickly and Michaeil Antonio crosses for Kouyate, but he's just beaten to the ball by Domzale defender Alvaro Brachi.

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

Well Richard, I guess the Games don't start until tomorrow.

The ground in Brasilia looks pretty full.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:20 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

NK Maribor 0-0 Aberdeen (1-1 agg)

Over in Slovenia, Aberdeen are goalless with NK Maribor at half-time. That means, as it stands, the Dons are going out on away goals after a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

You can follow that game in more detail here.

  15. Postpublished at 31 mins

West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)

Antonio Mance spots Darren Randolph and tries to do a Beckham, beating the keeper from the half-way line. There's no pace behind the attempted lob and a back peddling Randolph is able to hold the ball under his crossbar.

West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)

Has that early yellow card affected Matic Crnic? He caused West Ham all sorts of problems in the first leg but has been largely anonymous so far in this game. Instead, Antonio Mance looks the most likely to score for the hosts - only a brilliant intervention by Reece Oxford prevents the forward from sneaking through again.

Domzale have looked decent going forward, but their high defensive line and questionable marking has cost them.

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

BBC Sport's Sam Merton in Brazil: "The pounding music from the stage at the FanZone in Rio finally stops as the big screen kicks into life more than 90 seconds into match."

More than 10 minutes into the game and no real sight of goal for the home side. You can watch the action here.

  18. 'Great goal'published at 20:13 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

Former QPR and Charlton forward Bradley Allen, speaking on BBC Radio London: "That was a great goal by Kouyate. He still had work to do. The visitors were questioning the referee because there was clearly an injury. Andy Carroll could have gone for goal himself but headed it down."

    GOAL - West Ham 2-0 NK Domzale (3-2 agg)published at 25 mins

    Cheikhou Kouyate

    It's the Cheikhou Kouyate show!

Not content with grabbing a historic first goal at the new stadium, he goes and bags another, poking home from Andy Carroll's knockdown.

Good timing as well. NK Domzale were just starting to threaten a goal themselves.
