  1. 'Still in it'published at 20:08 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

Former QPR and Charlton forward Bradley Allen, speaking on BBC Radio London: "NK Domzale have not been too fazed despite conceding a goal. Matic Crnic is a danger and they will firmly believe they are still in this tie. They will have taken huge confidence from the first game."

West Ham 1-0 NK Domzale (2-2 agg)

With 50,000 fans cheering on the Hammers, you'd be forgiven for expecting NK Domzale to be overawed by it all. Not so, as they again test the hosts' defence. It's Antonio Mance again as he chases a ball through the middle. He's onside this time but Winston Reid is across to get a crucial leg in.

West Ham 1-0 NK Domzale (2-2 agg)

Things have quietened down in this game - both on the pitch and in the stands. West Ham haven't really built on that strong start and NK Domzale certainly carry a threat. Antoni Mance gets in behind the defence but he is flagged offside.

    Brazil 0-0 South Africa

There's some football up and running in Brazil as the Olympic hosts take on South Africa.

  5. 'A goal to settle the nerves'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

Former QPR and Charlton forward Bradley Allen, speaking on BBC Radio London: "That goal should settle some of the early nerves. There is more than enough experience in the spine of the side to deal with this environment and big stage."

West Ham 1-0 NK Domzale (2-2 agg)

Marko Alvir has Domzale's first effort on goal. It's speculative at best as he has a pop from 30 yards and Michail Antonio gets a block in.

West Ham 1-0 NK Domzale (2-2 agg)

It's 2-2 on aggregate, but that goal means West Ham are at this moment going through to the next round on away goals.

Long way to go, but the Hammers are flying. It's like they've been playing at this stadium for years.

    Cheikhou Kouyate

A historic goal for West Ham as Cheikhou Kouyate bags the first-ever goal at the London Stadium. It's a neat finish as he deftly flicks home Sam Byram's cross.

    Perfect start for the hosts!

West Ham 0-0 NK Domzale (1-2 agg)

Matic Crnic caused West Ham all sorts of problems in the first leg, capitalising on some slopping defending to score two goals - one of those a penalty. He is quick to make his presence known in this game as he goes in heavy on Sofiane Feghouli, but the referee is not keen on those types of tackles and he is shown the yellow card.

  11. 'Noisy atmosphere'published at 19:50 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

Former QPR and Charlton forward Bradley Allen, speaking on BBC Radio London: "The new ground has quickly filled up and the fans are creating a noisy, positive atmosphere. West Ham need to show patience but play with penetration."

West Ham 0-0 NK Domzale (1-2 agg)

West Ham come galloping out of the traps as Michail Antonio charges forward down the right. He squeezes between two defenders and gets a gentle tug on his shirt, sending him to the ground. No free-kick though.

  13. KICK-OFFpublished at 1 min

West Ham 0-0 NK Domzale (1-2 agg)

A huge roar from the 50,000 odd home fans greets the whistle as the game gets under way.

West Ham supporters certainly seem to have had no trouble settling into their new surroundings.

  14. Domzale take heart from Walespublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 4 August 2016

West Ham v NK Domzale (19:45 BST)

NK Domzale want to copy the Euro 2016 achievements of Wales and Iceland, and cause a Europa League upset, according to boss Luka Elsner.

"Before the game we had five or 10% chance of going through, that is maybe now 20 or 25%," he said as his side look to defend a 2-1 lead from the first leg with West Ham.

"It is a still along way to go. And will be a fantastic battle for a minimum of 90 minutes.

"We got a result in the first leg so we have a chance to do something in London. There have been so many nice stories from the Euros that we can copy that and give us confidence."

Unfancied Wales reached the semi-finals while Iceland beat England in the last-16 of Euro 2016.

With just a few minutes until kick off, the players are coming out on to the pitch. There'll be no official opening ceremony - that is being held back for Sunday's friendly with Juventus. Poor old NK Domzale are not quite glamorous in enough it seems.

Still, it's no bad thing that we don't get to see it tonight, given how cringey the closing ceremony was.

Having said that, it did provide us with the sight of Paolo di Canio wearing his nan's curtains, so wasn't all bad.

The Olympics officially gets under way on Friday with the opening ceremony in Rio, but events started yesterday with football.

The hosts' women's team beat China 3-0 in Olympic Stadium last night and as mentioned below, the men's team are in action this evening as Neymar and co take on South Africa. New Manchester City signing Gabriel Jesus starts for Brazil.

I'll be keeping my eye on that match and popping regular updates on this very page, but if you want to watch it yourself then head here.

BBC Sport's Sam Merton in Brazil: "Crowds slowly building at the fan zone in Rio's Praça Mauá, waiting to watch Neymar's Brazil get their quest for long awaited men's football Olympic gold under way against South Africa."

Elsewhere, Honduras find themselves 2-0 up against Algeria.
