  1. GREAT SAVE!published at 12 mins

    PSG 1-0 Arsenal

Almost a swift second for PSG as Angel di Maria whips in a corner with real pace and David Ospina adjusts his feet really well to claw it out from right under the crossbar. Ricky Holmes scored one like that for Charlton the other week.

They have the tempo right now PSG. I'm not sure they will be able to keep it up but they are playing well. So far, Arsenal can't cope with the pace they are playing at.

Nick Bruzon: Celtic 1-0 down after 3 mins. Could be a messy night for them. Might we see the 7(seven) goal brackets?

Gabriel Paine: Awful defending from Mustafi. How did he let Cavani beat him to the ball so easily?

    PSG 1-0 Arsenal

PSG are playing very, very well as they slice through Arsenal almost at will, Adrien Rabiot is the man bursting into the area but his shot is deflected over the top. Arsenal can't get near them.

  5. Championship updatepublished at 19:57 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

Norwich have taken a third-minute lead at home to Wigan thanks to some atrocious defending at the back.

Jacob Murphy pounced as keeper Adam Bogdan ambled on the ball.

Another relegated side, Newcastle, have had the ball in the net at QPR's Loftus Road. Ayoze Perez celebrates after converting but his effort is ruled out for offside.

  6. A slick goalpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

    PSG 1-0 Arsenal

A move of high quality from PSG. We make it 10 passes, some afterburners from Serge Aurier (19) and a classy glancing header.

Not bad in 42 seconds. We're not quite sure how they fitted it all in.

    PSG 1-0 Arsenal

Marco Verratti goes into the book for a late and high tackle in midfield but Mesut Ozil wastes the free-kick. Is Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi struggling with a knock already? Rob Holding is warming up.

  11. Mustafi question...published at 19:51 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

    PSG 1-0 Arsenal

What a great start. They really moved the ball around. Aurier one touch down the right, whips the ball in. It's a free header. What does Mustafi do? He points at the referee and says it's not a goal because there is another ball on the pitch. The ball is on the other side of the pitch. Cavani should be marked tight, he wasn't, 1-0.

    Lionel Messi

Time to rip up that 'containment' gameplan as Lionel Messi scores with his first touch of the game.

I know it's easy to say from here but you would think that they might have kept an eye on the Barca number 10. He has all sorts of room on the left of the penalty area to thump a shot across goal and into the net.

  13. Molineux tribute for Wilkinsonpublished at 19:49 British Summer Time 13 September 2016

Shaw Lane defender Wilkinson, 26, collapsed during a cup game at Brighouse Town's St Giles Road stadium.

The former Hull City youngster was treated on the pitch before being taken to Halifax's Calderdale Royal Hospital.

    Edinson Cavani

Wow! PSG take the lead after 40-odd seconds as they make a mockery of that chat about missing Zlatan Ibrahimovic.Arsenal's defence must have been watching Sunderland last night as they switch off and let Serge Aurier whip a cross in to the front post and Edinson Cavani buries a header!

Jonny Magrinho: Don't understand all the fuss about Arsenal's XI. Definitely good enough to beat a floundering PSG side without Zlatan.

LoveofFootball: Hmmm... Arsene for your sake I hope Ospina doesn't go all Bravo tonight. It's a weird looking line up but you are the manager.
