  1. It's all going on down therepublished at 15:57

Even if the Championship is yet to properly ignite this afternoon, you can't say the same for Leagues One and Two.

Only Bury-Shrewsbury and Oldham-Chesterfield are yet to see a goal at either end in the third tier, while Mansfield-Barnet and Yeovil-Hartlepool are the only stalemates in the bottom division.

Coventry's half-time lead against an in-form Millwall stands out as a League One shock so far, while Fleetwood lead 2-1 at home to Charlton and leaders Bolton are in front against MK Dons.

In League Two, Plymouth and Portsmouth both lead - they're currently one and two in the table as it stands.

Pompey's game against Wycombe has had five goals - only one less than the whole of the Championship this afternoon. Luton were top before play but they trail Grimsby 1-0.

    • Sam Winnall's first goal of the season has Barnsley ahead against Preston and up to second in the Championship.
    • Will Grigg, still on fire, gave Wigan an early lead against Sheffield Wednesday - but his opener was cancelled out by Steven Fletcher.
    • Leaders Huddersfield are being held by Leeds, while winless Blackburn are 0-0 against QPR.
    • There have only been six first-half goals across our nine Championship fixtures.
  3. The Beast's bracepublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Jon ParkinImage source, Rex Features

Jon 'Beast' Parkin has graced some impressive stages in his career, playing as high as Championship level, but he's still capable of a bit of goalscoring magic in the bottom tier.

The big forward could probably do a job for the Pro-12 rugby union side Newport-Gwent Dragons, who share Rodney Parade with County, but his two goals so far have kept Cheltenham at bay. It's 2-2 at the moment.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

An interesting first 45 minutes, but few goals in the Championship as teams head back to the dressing room for half-time.

Surely there's got to be a bit more goalmouth action to come after the break?

  5. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    QPR 0-0 Blackburn

It was meant to be one of our featured games, but QPR's match with Blackburn has yet to spark to life as it approaches half-time.

Derrick Williams has just gone into the book for a foul on Mide Shodipo. That's about as exciting as it's got so far.

    Leeds 0-0 Huddersfield

Leeds v HuddersfieldImage source, Rex Features

It's against the run of play, but Leeds should be one goal up.

Chris Wood escapes his marker and meet Alex Mowatt's corner at the near post, but he glances his header wide of the target.

More news from Hillsborough to bring you as well, where Wigan's Nick Powell has unfortunately been forced off the pitch with a groin injury.

  7. Bogle goal a catch for Marinerspublished at 15:40 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Luton were top before kick-off in League Two but have been unseated by Plymouth as it stands - and are now trailing Grimsby Town thanks to Omar Bogle's goal.

Pompey level against Wycombe, Christian Burgess cancelling out Paul Hayes' effort.

Crewe also leaping up the table, they lead Exeter City by a single goal. It's a poignant afternoon for the Grecians as it would have been late Adam Stansfield's 38th birthday today. Still sorely missed by fans of Exeter, Hereford and Yeovil.

  8. Barnsley up to secondpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Preston 0-1 Barnsley

That Sam Winnall goal has Barnsley up to second as it stands, with the Tykes on course for their first points away from home this season. Figure that one out.

Meanwhile, Brentford are up to sixth, as Scott Hogan's left-footed shot has given them the lead at Brighton.

  9. Postpublished at 15:36 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Leeds 0-0 Huddersfield

Local derbies can be nervy affairs, but I must admit I was expecting better at Elland Road, as leaders Huddersfield have played some of the best football in the Championship this season.

There's still yet to be a shot on target from either side, but the Terriers are dominating time in possession.

  10. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Wiganpublished at 15:31 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Steven Fletcher

The last time I updated you on the game at Hillsbrough, Sheffield Wednesday were clawing their way back into the game after falling behind early on against Wigan.

Their pressure has finally shown, Steven Fletcher scuffing a shot into the bottom corner after shrugging off pressure from Jake Buxton.

  11. Another missed penalty!published at 15:31 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Fulham 0-0 Birmingham

    Clayton DonaldsonImage source, Rex Features

It's not a good day to be a penalty taker, as Clayton Donaldson sees his spot-kick saved by Fulham keeper David Button.

Barnsley's Sam Winnall has got his shooting boots on though, sliding in to prod home Marley Watkins' cross at the far post to make it 1-0 at Preston.

  12. A lesson in lip-bitingpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Bristol Rovers president Wael Al-Qadi could have been forgiven for losing his cool on BBC Radio Bristol when his side conceded early on against Rochdale.

Likewise for being excited shortly after when they equalised. However... parity was then cancelled out shortly after and Dale lead 2-1 the moment.

  13. Postpublished at 15:28 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    QPR 0-0 Blackburn

QPR might be 19 places above visitors Blackburn, but it's not showing just yet.

Rovers have fired off three shots to the hosts' two, but neither side have tested the opposing keeper so far. Still 0-0.

  14. Missed penalty...published at 15:24 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Wolves 0-0 Burton

And it's Burton who've wasted the golden opportunity!

Wolves may well have their record signing Ivan Cavaleiro on show for the first time today, but it's Burton who've had and missed the game's best chance at Molineux. Lucas Akins is the guilty party, failing to score from 12 yards.

Big old let off for the home side.

  15. South west smiles in the bottom tierpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Plymouth Argyle celebrateImage source, Rex Features

High-flying Plymouth are top as it stands thanks to Graham Carey's goal against the EFL bottom-side Cambridge. Not a good time for Shaun Derry there.

Fellow early pacesetters Doncaster are TWO up at Morecambe - it's James Coppinger's 500th appearance for them but the goals have gone to Andy Butler and John Marquis.

  16. Elsewhere in the Championship...published at 15:20 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Norwich 1-0 Cardiff

There's one more goal to tell you about in the Championship, as Cameron Jerome puts Norwich ahead of Cardiff with a close-range finish.

Wigan have been unable to build on their early goal at Sheffield Wednesday, with the hosts starting to see a little bit more of the ball.

Leeds 0-0 Huddersfield, QPR 0-0 Blackburn

Leeds v HuddersfieldImage source, Rex Features

No goals yet in either of our other two featured game, with struggling Leeds and Blackburn holding their own against Huddersfield and QPR respectively in the early stages.

The league leaders are dominating possession at Elland Road, but there haven't been any shots to show for their efforts so far.

  18. The (League) One Showpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

Port Vale's Alex Jones (geddit!) got off the mark at Peterborough from a set-piece, but George Moncur levelled soon after - 1-1 there.

Charlton and Fleetwood meet in the third tier this afternoon having travelled from opposite ends of the football pyramid during the last decade or so - and it is the latter who have taken the lead.

Chris Long lived up to his name, swatting a shot from distance beyond Declan Rudd. 1-0 Fleetwood.

Elsewhere, Bolton are ahead at home to MK Dons with Mark Beevers' goal separating the two teams - both of whom dropped out of the Championship last year.

  19. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 0-1 Wiganpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Will Grigg

Will Grigg, it would appear, is still on fire, putting Wigan into an early lead at Sheffield Wednesday, turning in Michael Jacobs' ball in from close range.

Elsewhere in the Championship, Rotherham have gone 1-0 up against Bristol City as Izzy Brown tapped in to an open goal.

  20. goal

First goal of the daypublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 10 September 2016

    Morecambe 0-1 Doncaster

Finally we have our first goal of the day. James Coppinger swings in a corner on his 500th league appearance for Doncaster, and Andy Butler prods it home to give them the lead at Morecambe.
