Lokal Krysis: Oxlade-Chamberlain was first at Walcott's header. Koscielny's touch was a deflection into the net, and therefore ball to hand. 

Ankur Goel: People need to watch the replay again. Not offside from Walcott's header. Koscielny hits the ball first, unintentional handball.

Alan in Southend: Never offside or handball. Fortunate, though, but you need luck to win this league. 

James in Sutton: I am prepared to say that it was offside but the ball was not handled deliberately so no handball. However, how many people berating a bad referee decision could say they spotted offside before the replays? 

Peter in Shropshire: If that "handball" was worthy of a free kick then we'll see an awful lot more penalties given when balls are smacked into defenders arms at close range. Definitely offside though.

Khan Karn: No Burnley fan but must be so hard to stomach playing so well and getting robbed by poor refereeing and handball. Things like that ruin many games. 

Seth Egoeh: How are people even defending that illegitimate goal scored by Arsenal! What's this world turning into? Incredible. 

Ian Hale: Koscielny obviously didn't mean it. He barely knew where he was, let alone the ball. If that was handball, so was ball hitting Keane.

Burnley

Burnley boss Sean Dyche, speaking to Sky Sports: "You have to question the added time, the corner and whether it should have come in, the handball and question whether we should have dealt with it.  It's a poor way to end a game. We are disappointed in that but encouraged by the performance.

"We were taking on one of the super power clubs. Obviously it's the ultimate frustration with the last 10 seconds or so. There's not point in trying to pass them off the park. We wanted to get the ball forward quickly and earn the right to score a goal. 

"Defensively you have to be diligent about your work. The mood in the dressing room is not low, we know what the challenge is. It's more one of frustration because they have done enough to earn a point after keeping a good side quiet 

"Our goalkeeper Tom Heaton has not had much do and almost saved the goal. We're the minnows of the division and not got the spending power so we are learning. There's a lot of positives to come out of this."

Burnley

Burnley manager Sean Dyche speaking to BBC MOTD: "If you add in the referee’s part on the time – it looks six or seven seconds over when he takes the corner - and the handball it is very frustrating. The tactical organisation, the discipline the shape – there is a lot said about our effort – but that was excellent.

"We wanted to get the ball forward and make it difficult and give them something different to deal with. It is a real bitter pill to swallow.

"We have played Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester already this season and we have taken seven points from seven games. It has been solid."

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger speaking to BBC MOTD: "We are a bit fortunate today, because we are a bit jaded physically and made some technical mistakes. Burnley defended very well and they looked from every corner as if they could score. I have not seen the winner but I have been told that we were a little fortunate.

"The impact of the other results today on the morale of the team could have been negative if we had not won. Burnley are a tough team though, everyone will find it hard here. When you come back here you know what it is like to play football back in years past."

Arsenal

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a difficult game. We had to not concede and be patient against a team who are well organised with full spirit. We lacked sharpness and our legs were heavy and that was a game we could win 1-0 and also lose 1-0 on set-pieces. 

"I have not seen the replay of our goal and I did not see from the bench it go in. Maybe we were a bit lucky there [with the handball] then, yes?

"If you want to win the league you have to be efficient at home and win some away games. We made many technical mistakes today. We wanted to win and knew it could be a big week for us and maybe we played with the handbrake and not enough freedom. It was down to Burnley doing well and us being a bit below our level."

Arsene's thoughts coming up. Do you think he got a good view of the goal?

Andrew, Huntingdon: "Handball and also offside as it was kicked forward to hit Koscienly, terrible decision by the referee."

Burnley

Burnley defender Michael Keane: "It is extremely disappointing, the lads put in a great shift, they were brilliant to a man. I have not seen it back but I heard it was handball and offside. You just hope these things come back to you across the season.

"It was on of those days. We come away without a point, but there are plenty of positives. We came in and took the game by the scruff of the neck and played some good stuff."

Arsenal

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny, speaking to Sky Sports: "I don't know if it was handball. I tried with my right foot and I don't know if I touch it with my hand. The referee gave the goal and you need to respect the decision.

"It was a hard game. We had the chance to score but we have to push ourselves on the pitch and it arrived at the end. It keeps our run going. 

"We wanted to finish before the international break with a win. It's important to keep our feet on the ground. You could see against Burnley they played well. We needed to push ourselves more and more and in football the aim is to win and keep the quality of our football at the same time."

Arsenal forward Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, speaking to Sky Sports: "I think the TV cameras will know better than us who's goal it is! It's hit both of us at some point but it doesn't matter. That's a really important win. 

"The longer the game goes at 0-0 you start to worry and maybe play differently. Mostly we we tried to play the same way but then went a bit direct. 

"It was a tough game. Burnley defended well and made it hard for us but we got the three points. Obviously we heard about other results today but we just focus on us and that bring us clsoer together, We did what we needed to do and need to push on after the inetrnational break."

Arsenal

Wow! What a finish.

That was generally a pretty poor spectacle, but Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will care little. It's victory and his team are up to third in the table.

They have 16 points, along with fourth place Liverpool. Manchester City lead on 18 points despite losing to Tottenham, who are second on 17 points.

Anyway, let's hear from the Ox, who had a big hand in the goal. Not literally, that was Koscielny. We jest.

Dan Fookes: Aside from being both offside and handball, that was a perfectly legitimate goal
