    Steve Claridge
Ex-Leicester striker for BBC Radio 5 Live

He has done well there - Charlie Austin. He did much better than I thought he would there.

He is a big bulky lad and moves a lot quicker than he should be able to.  His shorts have ridden up to reveal some huge thighs...

    Southampton 0-0 Burnley

Charlie Austin will want to do well against his old club Burnley and works hard to earn a corner, but Steven Davies' ball into the box is headed away.

We have not seen the best of Southampton striker Austin since he joined the club in January.

    Martin Fisher
    Match of the Day commentator

"Like Mauricio Pochettino and Ronald Koeman before him, Claude Puel appears to have overcome the loss of key players over the summer to fashion a Southampton side that remains true to the club's traditions.

"Saints are picking up points, are easy on the eye and difficult to beat.

"They've kept three clean sheets in a row in the Premier League (six in all competitions), and there's every chance of extending that further against goal-shy Burnley, who are again without Andre Gray, as he serves a four-game ban.

"Success for the visitors rests on turning a defence that's been so leaky on the road into the miserly outfit that turns up at Turf Moor."

All the talk in the previous match was about the referee, but it won't be in this one because Mike Dean is in charge.

An incredible achievement by former Southampton defender Francis Benali today, who has run and cycled to every Premier League and Championship stadium in two weeks.

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

    Watford

Watford manager Walter Mazzari on MOTD: "I'm very satisfied because we won an away game in such a difficult stadium. I'm mainly (satisfied) with the character of the team but I'm less satisfied on the overall performance.

"In the first half we were allowing too much on the right side and in the second half we managed to make some modifications and stopped them attacking on the right side and we're happy about this.

"I’m happy. It’s going very well. We could’ve had one or two points more at this stage. We’ve been playing all the games well with the exception of Burnley away."

    Chris Sutton
Ex-Chelsea striker on BBC Radio 5 live

Middlesbrough were pitiful going forward. Well - there wasn't any forward play.

It looks like it's going to be a tough season for them. They are going to have to start winning at home.

I have to say Negredo didn't look like he wanted to be on the pitch.

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

    Middlesbrough

Boro manager Aitor Karanka on MOTD: "We played the first 35 minutes really good and I told them at half-time we couldn't play the way they were playing in the last 10-15 minutes. The second half we couldn't play.

"Had we scored the chances we created at the beginning of the game maybe we'd have won the game. When they scored it was impossible to play. They're really experienced players. We need to learn and keep going. The only way we know how to play is the way we played the first 35 minutes."

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

    Watford

Watford captain Troy Deeney: "We battled. We fought for every ball, first and second ball, and made it more difficult. It could have been a much different game if Antonio Barragan had been sent off.

"Both are yellow card offences so you can't tell me he deserves to be on the pitch.

"We've just got to keep going, fight for a level of consistency. We've got to make sure we keep a level performance that's high enough to be in the Premier League."

Does not get any easier for Middlesbrough, who have Manchester City, Arsenal and champions Leicester in their next three away games.

    What's going on here?

Watford have won but goalscorer Jose Holebas and Etienne Capoue are having a right tiff with each other.

Not sure what that is about, but Younes Kaboul has to come across and separate the pair so that the argument does not go too far.

Fair to say match-winner Holebas is not happy as he makes his way down the tunnel.
