That actually takes some doing that. Daniel Ayala has over hit that by 30 yards! That has actually gone into the stand diagonally behind the goal.

Three of the six minutes remaining.

Middlesbrough have shown no sign they can get an equaliser, especially after Daniel Ayala kicks a diagonal ball out of play.

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

Boro defender Ben Gibson collects the ball on the edge of the box and runs with it to the halfway line, before giving it away to Troy Deeney.

Typical of how the home side have played today. Sloppy.

The home fans finally come to life as they see SIX minutes off injury time to be played in this match.

They should be crying not cheering, see the way their side have performed over the 90 minutes.

Jordan Rhodes might end up scoring but give him a chance. Give him at least 20 minutes.

Bringing him on now is a token gesture isn't it?

Isaac Success's last action is to fall over on the ball with no-one around him. He trots off and is replaced by Ben Watson.

For Middlesbrough, Marten de Roon makes way for Jordan Rhodes, who has been a huge given two minutes to make a difference. What's the point?

    Middlesbrough 0-1 Watford

George Friend wins a corner for Middlesbrough and frantically flaps his arms towards the crowd in the manner of telling them to make some noise.

The ripple of applause has not helped Stewart Downing though, who swings his corner straight into the hands of Heurelho Gomes.

    Southampton v Burnley (16:00 BST)

Southampton make three changes to the team which drew with Leicester in their last Premier League outing. Injured full-backs Cedric Soares and Ryan Bertrand are out, replaced by Cuco Martina and Matt Targett, while Jordy Clasie replaces Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg in midfield.

Burnley stick with the team which started in the 1-0 defeat by Arsenal at Turf Moor earlier this month.

It's important Middlesbrough sort their home form out or it's going to be a very very long season for them.

Really nifty player is Isaac Success, his speed and trickery means he is going to win plenty of free-kicks for Watford. Marten de Roon chops him down and is fortunate not to get another yellow.

Just put Jordan Rhodes on. He is a goal scorer. Nothing to lose now.

Defender Calum Chambers gallops forward and goes down under the challenge of Watford's Jose Holebas on the edge of the area.

The Greek defender is lucky to get away with that one, looked a nailed on trip.

Roger East will get a talking to from the referee's chief on Monday morning.

Something along the lines of: "You're doing Bristol City next week, pal."

Middlesbrough might want to work on their heading in training next week.

Might as well spend some time on passing, tackling and shooting while they are at it.

Marten de Roon weakly heads wide from Stewart Downing's cross.

It's very quiet inside the Riverside Stadium. The Middlesbrough players need to be more courageous going forward and give the crowd something to shout about.

    Nice from Isaac Success.

The Nigerian works some quick stepovers, ala Jay-Jay Okocha, on the edge of the area, sending Calum Chambers back to North London.

He shoots from the edge of the area towards the top corner, but goalkeeper Victor Valdes reads it well and can catch the ball at the far post.

Another shot on target, not bad.

Boro midfielder Marten de Roon was booked following that incident. Looks like he gave the referee too much chat there.

Play is halted by Roger East as Watford striker Troy Deeney and Middlesbrough midfielder Gaston Ramirez clash during a challenge. Deeney is holding his backside, while Ramirez holds his head.

"You don't know what you're doing," shout the home fans towards the referee.

Middlesbrough have no chance of getting back into the game if they carry on playing like this.

    Woeful performance so far.
