Jordan Rhodes might end up scoring but give him a chance. Give him at least 20 minutes.

The ripple of applause has not helped Stewart Downing though, who swings his corner straight into the hands of Heurelho Gomes.

It's important Middlesbrough sort their home form out or it's going to be a very very long season for them. 

Really nifty player is Isaac Success, his speed and trickery means he is going to win plenty of free-kicks for Watford. Marten de Roon chops him down and is fortunate not to get another yellow.

Just put Jordan Rhodes on. He is a goal scorer. Nothing to lose now.

Defender Calum Chambers gallops forward and goes down under the challenge of Watford's Jose Holebas on the edge of the area.

The Greek defender is lucky to get away with that one, looked a nailed on trip.

Roger East will get a talking to from the referee's chief on Monday morning.

Something along the lines of: "You're doing Bristol City next week, pal."

It's very quiet inside the Riverside Stadium. The Middlesbrough players need to be more courageous going forward and give the crowd something to shout about.

Nice from Isaac Success.

The Nigerian works some quick stepovers, ala Jay-Jay Okocha, on the edge of the area, sending Calum Chambers back to North London.

He shoots from the edge of the area towards the top corner, but goalkeeper Victor Valdes reads it well and can catch the ball at the far post.

Boro midfielder Marten de Roon was booked following that incident. Looks like he gave the referee too much chat there.

Play is halted by Roger East as Watford striker Troy Deeney and Middlesbrough midfielder Gaston Ramirez clash during a challenge. Deeney is holding his backside, while Ramirez holds his head.

"You don't know what you're doing," shout the home fans towards the referee.

Middlesbrough have no chance of getting back into the game if they carry on playing like this.
