Liverpool already look better with Firmino at centre-forward. He is working harder than Daniel Sturridge was when Liverpool do not have the ball, and his movement when they do have possession is much better too - he is stretching United's defence and creating space for his team-mates with his runs.

It's been all Liverpool for the last 10 minutes, since that Zlatan Ibrahimovic miss. Liverpool look better since the change, that's for sure. Adam Lallana skips into the area and wins a corner. 

Marcus Rashford back as an auxiliary right-back to win the ball back for Manchester United. He'll surely end up as a centre-forward - if they still exist - but he's learning all aspects of the game at the moment. 

Rick in Manchester: It's ok being results focused, but I think it's a bit sad seeing United approach games like this. It's against the DNA of the club. 

Adam Lallana plays a one-two with Roberto Firmino and ends up lacing a shot hugely wide, but the Kop still give him a massive ovation. There's spark and purpose to his game.

Sadio Mane then beats two tackles. Is it stirring?

Great pass through from defence by Joel Matip, Emre Can has a comparitive ocean of space, he works it on to his left foot and hits it low and hard, and David de Gea makes a massive save with his Red Right Hand.

Liverpool just cannot get going in this game and Manchester United are currently well in control - indeed Zlatan should have given them the lead with that header.

Jurgen Klopp is about to introduce Adam Lallana in an attempt to give Liverpool some fresh impetus, which they certainly need.

With the way this game has gone we may struggle to get a better chance than that header for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Adam Lallana is imminent.

He put it across goal, almost caught in two minds with it. He really should score!
