It's not very often in the last 25 years you've seen Manchester United make quite so many errors in such a short space of time. Ander Herrera passes the ball straight to Diego Costa, he runs over halfway and Eric Bailly has little choice but to bring him down and take the inevitable booking. 

The away side stir! Ander Herrera with a speculative, but well-hit shot from 25 yards, Thibaut Courtois gets a left hand to it to push it away and he then has to get up smartly to block a Jesse Lingard follow-up.

Should be three! Daley Blind caught napping at a bouncing ball, systematic of his side's play so far, and Pedro takes it from him. Pedro speeds away into the box, tries to square it for Diego Costa but David de Gea hooks it away with his left foot.

Seconds later Eden hazard walks past Blind again and his cross is narrowly missed by Costa.

'You're not special any more' sing a few Chelsea fans as they taunt their former manager, and the travelling support.

That's the first goal Manchester United have conceded from a set-piece all season. But they look ragged at the back.

Chelsea are dominating the football, Manchester United are not aggressive enough. Chris Smalling is having one, he leaves his man. I am not sure what Smalling is doing. You have to mark your man until the ball is cleared. I am not sure where his head is? He has to get it together.

If we're dishing out blame for that poor Manchester United defending then Daley Blind needs to take the wrap too. He was deeper than the rest of his defence, but Chris Smalling should still have cut it out.

The Optimist: I think Mr Mourinho left his bus at Anfield last Monday. 

Antonio Valencia is about the closest thing to an out-and-out winger you get these days, even though he plays at full-back. It's an old-fashioned run down the right before he stands up a wonderful cross and Zlatan Ibrahimovic heads over the top.

Pedro scored with his first shot on target of the season, and that is the sixth time in Premier League history that Manchester United have conceded a goal inside the first minute.

Don't try and name them all - I haven't got a clue.

It almost goes without saying, but that is the fastest goal of the season. Manchester United win an early corner but Daley Blind's cross is easily dealt with at the front post.
