  1. YELLOW CARDpublished at 29 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United

It's not very often in the last 25 years you've seen Manchester United make quite so many errors in such a short space of time. Ander Herrera passes the ball straight to Diego Costa, he runs over halfway and Eric Bailly has little choice but to bring him down and take the inevitable booking.

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 28 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United

The away side stir! Ander Herrera with a speculative, but well-hit shot from 25 yards, Thibaut Courtois gets a left hand to it to push it away and he then has to get up smartly to block a Jesse Lingard follow-up.

    Joshua Huntley: Shambles

Graham Green: United a total shambles. See what happens when Rooney doesn't play (he said with tongue firmly planted in cheek)

  4. CLOSE!published at 26 mins

    Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United

Should be three! Daley Blind caught napping at a bouncing ball, systematic of his side's play so far, and Pedro takes it from him. Pedro speeds away into the box, tries to square it for Diego Costa but David de Gea hooks it away with his left foot.

Seconds later Eden hazard walks past Blind again and his cross is narrowly missed by Costa.

Smalling and Blind are getting skinned every time...

    Chelsea 2-0 Manchester United

'You're not special any more' sing a few Chelsea fans as they taunt their former manager, and the travelling support.

That's the first goal Manchester United have conceded from a set-piece all season. But they look ragged at the back.

    Danny Mills
Ex-England defender on Radio 5 live

Chelsea are dominating the football, Manchester United are not aggressive enough. Chris Smalling is having one, he leaves his man. I am not sure what Smalling is doing. You have to mark your man until the ball is cleared. I am not sure where his head is? He has to get it together.

GOAL - Chelsea 2-0 Manchester Unitedpublished at 22 mins

    Gary Cahill

Chelsea scored against Leicester with a corner that was flicked on at the near post by Nemanja Matic and they strike gold again with the same routine. Matic runs to the front, it's actually Antonio Valencia who flicks it on this time, it then cannons off Ander Herrera and sits up perfectly for Gary Cahill to smash into the net from six yards out.

Cahill celebrates wildly. Jose Mourinho looks disgusted.

Diego Costa breezes past Chris Smalling and his backheel almost finds Pedro breaking into the middle, Chelsea operating on a different level at the moment. Marcus Rashford is almost playing left-back, he's tracking Victor Moses all the way.

Bruce Ha: Smalling didn't deal with it, De Gea shouldn't come out of the box, Blind shouldn't let Pedro run with freedom, chaotic start.

    A succinct summary Bruce.

  12. CLOSE!published at 14 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

More really poor defending from Manchester United as Chelsea play the 'Anderton-Sheringham*' corner to find Eden Hazard all alone on the edge of the area, he hits a shot on the bounce but it flies past the near post.

*If you're too young to know who they are, look it up

A Chelsea corner almost finds Diego Costa free in the goalmouth but it's turned away. Chelsea then have a long spell of comfortable possession.

If we're dishing out blame for that poor Manchester United defending then Daley Blind needs to take the wrap too. He was deeper than the rest of his defence, but Chris Smalling should still have cut it out.

Antonio Valencia is about the closest thing to an out-and-out winger you get these days, even though he plays at full-back. It's an old-fashioned run down the right before he stands up a wonderful cross and Zlatan Ibrahimovic heads over the top.

    Good opening for Manchester United.

  19. Postpublished at 7 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

Pedro scored with his first shot on target of the season, and that is the sixth time in Premier League history that Manchester United have conceded a goal inside the first minute.

    Don't try and name them all - I haven't got a clue.

  20. Postpublished at 5 mins

    Chelsea 1-0 Manchester United

It almost goes without saying, but that is the fastest goal of the season. Manchester United win an early corner but Daley Blind's cross is easily dealt with at the front post.
