Jose Mourinho doesn't do sentiment it appears.
The Manchester United manager had Marcus Rashford on the sideline waiting to replace Juan Mata when the Spanish midfielder finished off an excellent move to double the hosts' lead.
Mata took the acclaim, then looked to the touchline to see his number eight being held up, so he just kept walking, straight off the pitch.
No hard feelings though. Mata shook Mourinho's hand and got a slap on the back in return.
Brad Jones (OG)
Manchester United are playing some fine attacking football tonight but Feyenoord are giving them a helping hand. Quite literally at times. They have nobody shielding the back four so every time they lose the ball it's four on four.
This time Marcus Rashford feeds Zlatan Ibrahimovic on the overlap, the Swede tries to find Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the middle and goalkeeper Brad Jones backheels it into his own net.
Manchester United 2-0 Feyenoord
Jose Mourinho's reaction to Zlatan Ibrahimovic not taking that chance was hugely animated! He was livid. He wants goals.
Man Utd 2-0 Feyenoord
Manchester United 2-0 Feyenoord
That is Juan Mata's final touch. He's off, Marcus Rashford is on.
He closes down Brad Jones, who slices his clearance, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in...Saved!
Juan Mata
A really good goal. Michael Carrick wins the ball back 35 yards from goal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic turns it round the corner to send Wayne Rooney in on goal and as he winds up for the shot, the captain instead cuts a lovely reverse pass across goal to give Juan Mata a tap-in. Top class.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
If anyone wants to get prepared/carried away, the Europa League final this year is held in Stockholm, at the stadium where Zlatan Ibrahimovic ended Ryan Shawcross' England career.
Free-kick to Feyenoord. Into the wall.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Manchester United have been entertaining to watch tonight, and you don't get to say that very often these days. However, they do only lead 1-0 with 25 minutes left.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Dirk Kuyt comes off to some panto boos from the United fans. On instead comes Steven Berghuis, on loan from Watford/Udinese/Granada. I lost track.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Turns out the £28m playmaker who was the best player in the Bundesliga is quite decent after all. Who knew?
Henrikh Mkhitaryan glides past two men, plays a give and go, skips past a despairing tackle and then blots his copybook by shooting high into the side-netting when he couldhave squared it.
Brilliant play.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Henrikh Mkhitaryan now turns a volley over after a great cross from Wayne Rooney. The Armenian was offside - but United look dynamic tonight.

Jose Mourinho seemed so astonished Henrikh Mkhitaryan did not get a foul when he went down after bursting through the Feyenoord defence just then he was unable to react.
Normally the Manchester United boss would turn and point, or shout, or even laugh at the fourth official.
Tonight he just slowly shook his head as he looked at the ground and carried on patrolling his technical area.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Good play from Henrikh Mkhitaryan again, beating two men on the inside and shooting hard and low, it's deflected into the path of Juan Mata and he steers in. Miles offside though.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
I think I've seen more Manchester United players take a man on in the eight minutes since half time than in the three years since Sir Alex Ferguson left. Luke Shaw is the latest to beat a defender and put a cross in but he can't connect with Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
At the other end there's a half chance for the visitors as Phil Jones fluffs a header and Tonny Vilhena scuffs his shot wide.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
A let-off for Feyenoord on first viewing, and here's another in a very impressive spell from Manchester United. Juan Mata goes for a chip from the D, weights it perfectly and Brad Jones just does enough to get back and turn it over!
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Class from Henrikh Mkhitaryan! He beats one man, then another, he's running out of legs but bursting through the middle and he goes down under a challenge from Jens Toornstra. Is that a red card?!
No. because it's not even a foul...
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Zlatan Ibrahimovic can't get a shot away, Luke Shaw winds up to hit it but instead slides a well disguised pass into the path of Henrikh Mkhitaryan. He also shapes to shoot, comes inside and then sees his eventual shot charged down. Bright start!
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
Paul Pogba almost plays Wayne Rooney in with a peach of a first-time pass over the top, but it's either slightly overhit or Wayne is slower than he used to be, or both. It skids on into the palms of Brad Jones.
Manchester United 1-0 Feyenoord
United have drawn at home to Stoke, Burnley and Arsenal in recent weeks. Can they see this one over the line or is there another pegging back on the way?
