Manchester United v Feyenoord (20:05 GMT)

Around 8,000 Feyenoord fans have been in Manchester this afternoon enjoying the Christmas markets, sampling some cheese, maybe popping into the science and industry museum, checking out the political banners in the people's history museum.

A spot of shopping perhaps? Lovely day for it.

    Southampton

Southampton boss Claude Puel rings the changes as he keeps one eye on Sunday's Premier League home game with Everton.

Goalkeeper Fraser Forster, defender Virgil van Dijk, midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and forward Nathan Redmond are the only survivors from the team that started the goalless draw with Liverpool last weekend.

Defender Sam McQueen, 21, is among those recalled to the team.

Southampton: Forster, Martina, Yoshida, Van Dijk, McQueen, Ward-Prowse, Hojbjerg, Clasie, Long, Redmond, Rodriguez. Subs: Lewis, Davis, Austin, Romeu, Boufal, Bertrand, Stephens.

Former Arsenal midfielder Tomas Rosicky, 36, is missing from Sparta Prague's 18. Boooo.

Sparta Prague: Koubek, Mazuch, Kadlec, Karavaev, Dockal, Marecek, Lafata, Holzer, Holek, Costa, Julis. Subs: Miller, Dudl, Havelka, Kadlec, Kostl, Majka, Novotny.

Sparta Prague v Southampton (18:00 GMT)

    Southampton

Southampton striker Shane Long described tonight's match as "massive" for both teams, through bleary eyes.

"There's no reason we can't win the next two and top the group. I believe in this squad," said the Republic of Ireland international.

"It will be a hard test for us. You have to fight for every point."

Long starts tonight after leaving behind his nine-day old son Jax Anthony (nine).

"It has been tough," said the Republic of Ireland striker. "We had him last Monday. He is now nine days old. We didn't get him home until Sunday, so I've only had two or three days with him.

"It is amazing. It is a madhouse now with three kids under six but I'm loving every minute."

Not many dads get a midweek trip to Prague in the first fortnight after birth.

    Well played that man.

  5. Who can go through tonight?published at 17:05 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2016

    Plenty of teams.

If Uefa are correct - and let's hope they are - then 21 teams can go through this evening, including Southampton.

The sort of draw you're praying for if your team are involved in the Europa League.

Southampton can qualify for the last 32 with a win in Prague tonight. Whatever the result, I'm sure their travelling fans will have a superb little jaunt.
