  1. Dundalk go to the wirepublished at 20:08 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2016

    Dundalk 0-0 AZ

Dundalk are still very much in the running for runners-up place in Group D behind winners Zenit.

They face Maccabi Tel-Aviv - who also have four points so far - in the final game of the group so nothing can be decided for the Irish side tonight.

AZ can be eliminated this evening though.

A couple of flares were let off in the visiting end as the teams swapped ends before kick-off.

The green smoke is hanging over Old Trafford as the game starts, with the visiting fans singing 'shall we sing a song for you?'.

Then Daley Blind gets the ball. I won't say what they think he is.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan was one of the best players in the Bundesliga for the last few years. I was starting to think he was a myth, a Loch Ness monster figure. Seen once on a cold night briefly but never again. He is playing on the left at the moment, with Wayne Rooney central behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata on the right.

Paul Pogba heads over. Bright start.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva 3-2 Inter Milan

So we have had one big name casualty tonight already, Inter Milan's Europa League season is over.

A reminder Manchester United must avoid defeat to stay in the competition.

The away section at Old Trafford looks pretty full but in terms of crowd control, the real test will come after kick-off, when Feyenoord fans in the home areas become visible.

Officials from the Dutch club told me last night they estimated around 2,500 tickets from 800 Dutch addresses had been cancelled by United on the advice of Dutch police.

These had been sold prior to the latest security advice.

Afterwards, United only sold tickets to fans with a history of buying tickets for games at Old Trafford that had to be more than solely for the visit of Ajax in this competition four years ago.

"We shall not be moved," is the latest English Feyenoord song by the way.

  10. United can't go through, can go outpublished at 19:57 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2016

Manchester United v Feyenoord (20:05 GMT)

    Manchester United

Fenerbahce's win over Zorya Luhansk earlier makes the permutations simpler for this group today.

If Manchester United lose, they are out of Europe and Feyenoord and Fenerbahce are through.

A draw keeps United third, but still in the hunt, while a win moves them up into second before the group finale against already eliminated Zorya.

  11. All change in Group Lpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2016

Steaua Bucharest 2-1 Osmanlispor; FC Zurich 1-1 Villarreal

Late goals at Steaua Bucharest and at FC Zurich have given Group L (Yes, there are that many) a different look.

Gabriel Tamas found the net for Steaua to put them 2-1 up on Osmanlispor, while a late penalty got Zurich a 1-1 draw with Villarreal.

Osmanlispor and Villarreal both gave up leads and both were sitting pretty at the time. Not so much now. A four-way shootout in the final round of games. It's on.

  12. What Southampton needpublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 24 November 2016

Bizarrely, a 0-0 draw or a win will put Southampton through in their final game at home to Hapoel Beer Sheva.

A score draw would put them out.

WHAT a comeback! Ben Sahar scores in the last minute to give Hapoel a famous win which eliminates Inter and puts them level on seven points with Southampton.

It's looking like Southampton will only need a point from their final game at home to Hapoel Beer-Sheva though. They would have taken that in August you'd wager.

  18. CLOSE!published at 78 mins

    Sparta Prague 1-0 Southampton

That's really nice football from Southampton, their best in a long while. One-touch, slick passing opens Sparta up, Shane Long drives the cross into the middle and it's a tap-in until Ondrej Mazuch slides in to clear.

Then, from the corner, Virgil van Dijk heads over a great chance!

My oh my, we have some drama as Hapoel Be'er Sheva fight back from two down to level against Inter Milan - who are down to 10 men after goalkeeper Samir Handanovic was sent off.

If things stay as they are in both games in the group, Southampton will need just a draw against Hapoel in the final game to go through.

I say 'if' things stay as they are. Hapoel have just had a goal disallowed so they are going all in to beat Inter here. Drama to come...

Inter are going out as it stands.
