Ryan Shawcross volleys a pass out to Xherdan Shaqiri on the right wing, he sells a dummy to come inside and then fires in a dipping shot which flies right into the top corner. Unstoppable!

That is absolute class from Hull's record signing Ryan Mason. He brings down a long ball with a deft touch of the heel, leaves his defender for dead and then finds Will Keane with a wonderful, driven cross from the right.
Keane is at full stretch but powers in a header - wide!

What's this? A free-kick in Dimitri Payet range is played short by the Frenchman.

He's not wrong though. His Sunderland side are being outplayed. It's been a good start from the hosts but the Black Cats must match them.
