GOAL - Hull 0-1 Stokepublished at 15:25 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Xherdan Shaqiri (26 mins)

He only deals in stunners! What a goal that is to light up a reasonably dull start to the afternoon.

Ryan Shawcross volleys a pass out to Xherdan Shaqiri on the right wing, he sells a dummy to come inside and then fires in a dipping shot which flies right into the top corner. Unstoppable!

  2. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:24 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Alexis Sanchez's excellent free-kick, curled right-footed with plenty of power, is swatted away by Victor Valdes.

Arsenal have been dominating possession but you have to say, even with this latest attempt on goal, Boro should be leading with the chances they've had.

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

When you have Gylfi Sigurdsson in your side you've always got a chance and Swansea go close when the Icelander bends in from 20 yards but Heurelho Gomes tracks it all the way to save in style.

    Hull 0-0 Stoke

That is absolute class from Hull's record signing Ryan Mason. He brings down a long ball with a deft touch of the heel, leaves his defender for dead and then finds Will Keane with a wonderful, driven cross from the right.

Keane is at full stretch but powers in a header - wide!

    West Ham 0-0 Sunderland

What's this? A free-kick in Dimitri Payet range is played short by the Frenchman.

You're expecting a polished training ground routine to follow but... No. Just let him shoot?

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:22 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Gaston Ramirez crashes a curling left-footed free-kick against Petr Cech's post!

That's three times in a matter of minutes Middlesbrough have come close to taking the lead at Arsenal.

Will they come to pay for these?...

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:20 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Adama Traore must score for Middlesbrough!

The winger nicks the ball from Laurent Koscielny and bursts clear on goal, but is denied by Petr Cech's outstretched legs!

It's still alive as it falls to Alvaro Negredo, who fluffs a right-foot shot. It should be 1-0...

    Leicester 0-0 Crystal Palace

No real chances for Leicester so far without Jamie Vardy, and they haven't got Riyad Mahrez into the game either.

Is Steven Gerrard on his way from LA Galaxy?

This sounds very much like a goodbye message.

    West Ham 0-0 Sunderland

Nice try Dan, but seems like it's going to take more than that to set up the afternoon's first goal.

It doesn't look like popping up at West Ham, who are being pushed back a bit now by Sunderland after totally dominating the first 15 minutes.

    Swansea 0-0 Watford

Swansea come down their left and Wayne Routeldge puts over a low cross which is just ahead of the waiting Borja Baston. Open game at the Liberty.

  13. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:17 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

Much better from Ross Barkley, who dives inside and smashes a curling effort down Tom Heaton's throat from just outside the box.

The Burnley stopper pats it away.

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Arsenal 0-0 Middlesbrough

Mesut Ozil goes down in the box and glances over to Mike Dean expecting that pointing finger.

Seems like the referee is unconvinced though - his view is Martin de Roon's challenge was fair, and he's probably right.

Boro have really got their backs to the wall.

  15. EFL latestpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

After making a somewhat slow start, Newcastle United - the Rolls Royce of the Championship - have put their foot down. And the leaders need less than a minute to go ahead against bottom-half scrappers Ipswich Town through Spanish striker Ayoze Perez's volley.

Southend break the deadlock in League One thanks to Republic of Ireland striker Simon Cox's strike at MK Dons.

And League Two high-flyers Doncaster Rovers, who are hoping to move level with leaders Plymouth, need just 38 seconds to go ahead at Blackpool. It's been a lively start in the fourth tier, with away goals for Cambridge and Cheltenham in their respective trips at Exeter and Grimsby.

Barcelona are about to get their game at Cesare Prandelli's Valencia under way - the champions are only fourth in La Liga but can go top with a win.

Can they make it a third 4-0 victory in a row? Find out here.

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Hull 0-0 Stoke

Hull want a penalty as Will Keane batters in a shot from a corner, Ryan Shawcross blocks it with his arm, but his arm was across his chest, not out, and the shot was from point-blank range.

Referee Kevin Friend says no penalty. Wisely I think.

    Burnley 0-0 Everton

Ross Barkley's back in the Everton line-up after being dropped for the Manchester City game last weekend. His first real involvement is an average one. Poor if you want to be harsh as his cross fails to beat the first man.

  19. Postpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    West Ham 0-0 Sunderland

David Moyes cuts an angry figure on the sidelines. Waspish. Clear away the jam.

He's not wrong though. His Sunderland side are being outplayed. It's been a good start from the hosts but the Black Cats must match them.

  20. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:13 British Summer Time 22 October 2016

    Leicester 0-0 Crystal Palace

Chance! Christian Benteke with the header from a Martin Kelly cross, he climbs so well and thumps the crossbar from maybe 10 yards out. So unlucky - he couldn't do much more with that!

    Palace almost ahead.
