In League One leaders Bolton Wanderers are away at out-of-form Walsall and will be looking to end a run of three draws in the league while second-placed Scunthorpe, who have a game in hand on Bolton, play Shrewsbury Town.

At the other end, Coventry are still looking for their first league victory of the season as they host Oldham, while bottom of the table Rochdale play Fleetwood.

Meanwhile in League Two, the Devon derby is coming to an end with Plymouth Argyle 2-0 up away at rivals Exeter courtesy of two first-half goals from Graham Carey and Paul Garita.

Portsmouth, who have won their last four league games and lie in second place, will hope to bring three points back from a long journey to Accrington while bottom side Cambridge play Morecambe.

  2. Goal-shy Derby Countypublished at 14:53 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

Bristol City v Derby (15:00 BST)

While Barnsley can't stop scoring, Derby would give anything for a goal at the moment.

The Rams have found the back of the net just once in seven Championship games and sit 21st.

Boss Nigel Pearson said they were "mugged" in the 1-0 defeat by Ipswich on Tuesday, but urged his side to stay positive.

Today, they travel to a Bristol City side who have enjoyed a steady start to the campaign and sit mid-table, but let a lead slip at Sheffield Wednesday to lose in midweek.

Arguably the story of the season so far has been at Oakwell, where Barnsley simply can't stop scoring. Or winning.

Just nine months ago the Tykes were bottom of League One - but a meteoric rise started by Lee Johnson and continued by Paul Heckingbottom has seen them climb to third in the Championship.

18 goals scored, including a 4-0 thumping of Wolves on Tuesday, and five wins from seven games - not a bad start from one of the teams tipped for relegation a few weeks ago.

Reading, under new boss Jaap Stam, are finally getting into their groove after losing two of their first three games - they're unbeaten in their last four.

    Newcastle v Wolves (15:00 BST)

It's amazing what winning football matches can do. After defeats in their opening two Championship fixtures, Newcastle have won their next five at a canter, scoring 15 goals, and confidence appears to be flowing.

Following their 6-0 win at QPR on Tuesday Rafael Benitez even said there was still room for improvement.

A win for the Magpies today will send them to the summit if Huddersfield fail to beat QPR.

They face a Wolves side who have shown all of the instability a new manager and reshaped team can often bring, with boss Walter Zenga accusing his players of "giving up" during their 4-0 home defeat by Barnsley on Tuesday.

  5. Team newspublished at 14:47 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

Ipswich v Aston Villa: Mick McCarthy makes two changes for the hosts - Tom Lawrence and Freddie Sears replace Kevin Bru and Conor Grant. Aston Villa are without striker Ross McCormack, who picked up a knee injury in midweek, while Leandro Bacuna and Nathan Baker also come into the starting XI.

Newcastle v Wolves: Newcastle bring in Chancel Mbemba, Mo Diame and Dwight Gayle as Rafael Benitez makes three changes from the 6-0 win at QPR.Walter Zenga has rotated his squad once again with five new faces from Tuesday's heavy defeat. Moroccan midfielder Romain Saiss makes his Wolves debut.

Nottingham Forest v Norwich: Nottingham Forest ring the changes from Wednesday's 2-2 draw at Rotherham. Michael Mancienne, Danny Fox, Hildeberto Pereira, Chris Cohen and Mustapha Carayol all start. For Norwich, Robbie Brady replaces Alexander Tettey.

Wigan v Fulham: Wigan make one change as Yanic Wildschut starts. Fulham also make one change - Jozabed replaces Sone Aluko.

  6. Team newspublished at 14:43 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

Bristol City v Derby: The big team news for Bristol City is that Frank Fielding makes his first start in goal since 2 January. Joel Ekstrand and Jame Paterson also come in. Derby are unchanged from the 1-0 home defeat by Ipswich - goalkeeper Scott Carson makes his 350th club appearance.

Burton v Brighton: Burton's leading scorer Jackson Irvine is not in the squad. Brighton are unchanged from the 1-0 win over leaders Huddersfield on Tuesday.

Huddersfield v QPR: Huddersfield boss David Wagner makes two changes from midweek as Kasey Palmer and Nahki Wells both start. QPR also make two changes - Massimo Luongo and Olamide Shodipo return to the starting XI.

  7. Team newspublished at 14:41 British Summer Time 17 September 2016

Barnsley v Reading: Barnsley's team news is nice and simple - unsurprisingly they are unchanged from the side which thumped Wolves 4-0 at Molineux. Reading have John Swift and Tyler Blackett back in the starting XI.

Blackburn v Rotherham: Blackburn make two changes from the side which beat Leeds on Wednesday as Marvin Emnes and Danny Guthrie come in for Danny Graham and Hope Akpan. Rotherham are forced into just one switch - Stephen Kelly comes in for the suspended Darnell Fisher.

Brentford v Preston: Brentford make just one change - 21-year-old midfielder Sullay Kaikai replacing Josh Clarke in midfield. Preston boss Simon Grayson names the same starting XI from Tuesday's 3-0 win over Cardiff.
