Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"It's another really good break from Leeds. Cardiff have been throwing more and more players forward and there have been massive gaps for Leeds to run into.

"This time it's Pablo Hernandez, who has put the ball into the top corner and no goalkeeper could get close to that.

"I can't see Cardiff getting back into this now."

  2. Cardiff City 0-2 Leeds Unitedpublished at 84 mins

Silence and shock around the Cardiff City Stadium.

Another corner for the hosts finds Rickie Lambert but his header on target lacks power and direction.

Rob Green can easily gather that one.

    Well, there it is.

Pablo Hernandez was wasteful a couple of moments ago when he refused to lay in Chris Wood on the break, but this time he's shown some real class.

Brings the ball forward once more to the edge of the Cardiff area and then unleashes a right-foot curling shot in off the inside of the post.

Ben Amos can only stand and watch it go past him.

  4. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 81 mins

Good save low down to his right by Ben Amos from Hadi Sacko.

Leeds showing some strength on the break late on.

  5. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 80 mins

Cardiff force a corner as Kadeem Harris surges down the left wing.

Peter Whittingham's delivery is poor for the first time today.

Into the last 10 minutes and Leeds break clear. Pablo Hernandez doesn't use the options to his left or right and strikes one straight at goal.

  6. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 78 mins

Pontus Kamark was of course the man who was on my mind - the former Leicester City and Sweden defender for those not on my wavelength.

I think he might be watching this performance from Jansson from afar with some admiration.

  7. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 76 mins

Pontus Jansson, who's been making me think of other footballing Pontus's this lunchtime, continues to be solid at the back for Leeds.

Cardiff looking a little more hurried now as they try to search for that equaliser.

  8. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 72 mins

So close to 2-0 for the visitors as the two main men in the opening goal - Chris Wood and Matt Connolly - are involved.

Wood has an attempted shot inside the Cardiff box, but Connolly slides across to block the Kiwi's effort.

  9. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 70 mins

    Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds United

Change for Leeds United as Stuart Dallas makes way for Kemar Roofe in an apparent straight swap for Leeds.

Cardiff also shuffle things with Kadeem Harris replacing Joe Ralls.

  10. Nevin on the penalty decisionpublished at 68 mins

    Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds United

    Pat Nevin
Ex-Chelsea winger on BBC Radio 5 live

"If you are a Cardiff fan you are saying that's happened eight or nine times during the game, but the referee has seen this one very clearly.

"There was a little tug of the shirt so it is a penalty, but that's happened lots of times in this game.

"There's plenty of grabbing in both these boxes so will the referee give another penalty?"

  11. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 67 mins

Cardiff's following corner also came to nothing but again there were signs of uncertainty in that Leeds area.

A definite chance for Cardiff to come back into this one if they can find a quality delivery.

  12. Cardiff City 0-1 Leeds Unitedpublished at 65 mins

Great chance for Cardiff to equalise.

Rob Green comes running off his line and his punched clearance only goes as far as Matt Connolly.

Ball to the back post beyond a stranded Green, but it's the goalscorer Chris Wood who scrambles it behind for a corner.

Chris Wood sends Ben Amos the wrong way and Leeds are ahead.

Against the run of play for sure, but Cardiff can have few complaints about the awarding of that spot kick.

  14. PENALTY TO LEEDS UNITEDpublished at 61 mins

    Cardiff City 0-0 Leeds United

Here we go then - chance for the deadlock to be broken.

Leeds get awarded a penalty as a corner comes in. Pontus Jansson is wrestled down to the ground by Matt Connolly.

Advantage Plymouth at half-time in the Devon derby at Exeter.

Goals from Graham Carey and Paul Arnold Garita, who also created the opener, have given Derek Adams' League Two leaders breathing space at St James Park.

You know that phrase, 'if ever a game needed a goal'?

    Well, I'll say no more...

  17. Cardiff City 0-0 Leeds Unitedpublished at 57 mins

Cardiff continue to threaten at the start of this second half.

Peter Whittingham's set pieces causing some alarm in the Leeds defence. A free-kick and then two successive corners feature searching balls in.

Leeds still afloat though with some staunch defending.

  18. YELLOW CARDpublished at 54 mins

    Cardiff City 0-0 Leeds United

Stuart Dallas the latest Leeds man to go into the referee's notebook.

The former Brentford man lunges in too soon on Aron Gunnarsson as Cardiff pile forward.

  19. Cardiff City 0-0 Leeds Unitedpublished at 53 mins

Corner comes to nothing sadly for Cardiff as Rob Green gathers above the waiting crowd in the six-yard box.

  20. Cardiff City 0-0 Leeds Unitedpublished at 53 mins

Aron Gunnarsson gets his trademark long throw out for Cardiff after toweling the ball down.

Remember that from Euro 2016? England fans sadly do.

Eunan O'Kane heads it behind for a Cardiff corner.
