It has been a good West Brom performance. Jonny Evans, his calmness on the ball has been exceptional. He has not panicked once.

They just got undone by that one moment of brilliance from Diego Costa and the mistake from McAuley.

Into the final moments now, Hal Robson-Kanu's first moment of action is to be flagged for offside. In tight games you need a difference maker and Chelsea have theirs in Diego Costa.

Ben Southall: Eric Cantona with Leeds and Manchester United

Kyle McNabb: Mark Schwartzer in 2015 with Chelsea and 2016 with Leicester surely?

We've established Cantona and Schwarzer as winning successive league titles with different teams, the latter virtue of being a backup goalkeeper despite not featuring. This must have featured on a few quiz questions before, surely...

Winning games can make even the most fiery man happy. Diego Costa is caught by Jonny Evans but instead of kicking off it's a slap on the back for the Northern Ireland man. Costa then cuts a cross back for Cesc Fabregas but he can't steer it on target.

West Brom have come here and made it very difficult for Chelsea, but whoever they come up against now they must be full of confidence.

They have a way of playing, a system of keeping clean sheets and I don't see any of their upcoming games being a problem for them.

West Brom haven't done much wrong this afternoon. If they lose to that goal it'll be a frustrating trip back up the motorway.

It was a superb finish from the big man, the angle was not on his side at all. If Chelsea win then they will make it nine in a row and have a three-point cushion at the top of the table.

What an unbelievable finish that was from Diego Costa. I said it was going to take something special to break down this West Brom defence today and they have got it from Diego Costa.

When he cut inside I thought he had a lot to do, but that is right in the top bin.

So, we're looking for players who have won the league in successive seasons with different teams...

Jake Evans: Owen Hargreaves won with Man U then moved to Man City to win it again. Sadly didn't play enough games to get a winners medal

Calum Beats: Gael Clichy with Arsenal and Man City.

Neil Kamdar: Carlos Tevez? United then Man City?

Owen Hargreaves, a very good shout and a very unlucky man it seems...As for Tevez and Clichy, I'm afraid they're incorrect.

    Diego Costa

Well that has worked out nicely for me, I won't lie!

It's a brilliant goal by Diego Costa but Gareth McAuley is in Tony Pulis' office for lines tomorrow. A goal out of nothing. Cesc Fabregas just plays a hopeful punt into the corner, McAuley is in charge and should put it in Row Z.

Instead he tries to bring it inside, Costa mugs him, comes into the area and then on his left foot bends a superb goal past Ben Foster and into the top corner. A sublime strike.

I replaced Romelu Lukaku with Diego Costa in my fantasy football team this week, and put Ben Foster on the bench. Says it all.

I'm just looking at Antonio Conte's changes, bringing on Willian doesn't change much in terms of the way Chelsea play.

It's exactly the same formation but there will be a lot of set pieces in this game and I think Conte knows in Willian he has a genuine match winner when it comes to sticking one in from free-kicks if needed.

This game has fallen off a cliff, but David May could be trending on Twitter. Football very much the winner there.

Arran: David May? Actually he jumped ship after finishing second with Blackburn then finished second the season after with Man U

Paul Spence: Didnt David May do it in 95 & 96 with Blackburn and United?

Greg: Henning Berg or David May Blackburn/Man Utd

Arran is spot on, David May won two Premier League titles but both with Manchester United. As for Henning Berg, he won the league with both sides, but not in successive seasons.
