    Bournemouth v Leicester (19:45 GMT)

During Leicester's race to the Premier League title last season, there were only three teams they did not beat either home or away - losing both games against title rivals Arsenal, and drawing twice against Manchester United and tonight's opponents Bournemouth.

It finished 1-1 here in late August, a late Jamie Vardy penalty marking the start of his 11-game scoring run, while it finished goalless at the King Power Stadium on 2 January, although the Cherries played the last 33 minutes with 10 men after Simon Francis' red card, and were indebted to Artur Boruc's penalty save from Riyad Mahrez.

    Leicester City

What a statement that win over Manchester City was. Leicester were in danger of falling into the bottom three, had lost 5-0 in midweek and were without a league win since 22 October.

Jamie Vardy hadn't scored in over two months but would smash in a hat-trick as Pep Guardiola's side were blown away within the first 20 minutes.

Three-nil later turned to 4-2. But will it signal the start of something better?

    Arsenal

Another year, another decent run, another Champions League tie against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal's strong start to the season has a familiar feeling about it, and not for the right reasons.

The pundits have seen it all before. The Gunners are quick off the blocks but inevitably fade when the hard yards come..

But... could this year be different? Would you feel more confident about your answer if they won tonight at Goodison Park and got a decent result at Manchester City on Sunday?

    Not necessarily so...

  8. Lukaku - a frustration?published at 18:35 Greenwich Mean Time 13 December 2016

    Everton v Arsenal (19:45 GMT)

    Everton

There are clouds of gloom gathering over castle Goodison.

Saturday's defeat at Watford in the early kick-off was a limp affair. Basically, they went 1-0 up and then decided to be rubbish. That's pretty much how manager Ronald Koeman saw the 3-2 defeat anyway.

Former Everton captain Kevin Ratcliffe's been laying some of the blame at Romelu Lukaku's door, despite the striker's nine goals in the league.

"If you want to play Koeman’s game you have to defend from the front. Lukaku doesn’t do that, he doesn’t work hard enough. His work rate really frustrates Evertonians,” he told BBC Radio 5 live.
