    Bournemouth v Southampton (13:30 GMT)

    Southampton

The Saints are one place above Bournemouth and level on points.

Their manager Claude Puel believes the Vitality will witness a "good game".

"I know the rivalry between two clubs. I saw this, of course, with many games in France," he added.

"For our supporters, our fans, of course it's important to get a good result against Bournemouth. I know this, but for us and the players it's important to keep a good concentration about our team.

"I think we will see a good game because the two teams try to play on the ground with a good philosophy."

  4. 'It is a big game for the supporters'published at 13:10 Greenwich Mean Time 18 December 2016

    Bournemouth v Southampton (13:30 GMT)

    Bournemouth

    Right then.

We've got our Cherries v Saints heads on.

Here's Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe, who I believe still wakes up at 6am to open his Xmas pressies:

"Last season was a terrific atmosphere, the scenes were really enjoyable after the home win and the away game was not such a nice feeling, so it is a big game for the supporters and an important one.

"But I think we are aware every game is important in the Premier League, it does not matter who you play."

    Manchester United

    Shrieked Jose Mourinho.

OK, he didn't. But the Manchester United manager did offer this explanation as to why his players went over to the fans after their win over West Brom and handed them their shirts.

"I told them to do that. It is Christmas time," said the Portuguese boss, before he boarded his sleigh and flew off due north.

Subs: Fedirici, Mings, B Smith, Gosling, Ibe, Fraser, Afobe

It's a little more complicated when it comes to Southampton, with Claude Puel ringing the changes from a poor performance in the midweek 0-0 draw against 10-man Stoke.

Oriol Romeu is suspended, so he's out, but there's five other changes too.

Jose Fonte, Cuco Martina, Steve Davis, James Ward-Prowse and Shane Long are ditched.

In come Maya Yoshida, Jordy Clasie, Pierre Hojbjerg, Jay Rodriguez, Cedric Soares and Harrison Reed.

Southampton XI: Forster, Bertrand, Van Dijk, Yoshida, Soares, Hojbjerg, Clasie, Reed, Redmond, Boufal, Rodriguez

Subs: Taylor, Fonte, Long, Davis, Tadic, Martina, Ward-Prowse

If you caught Match of the Day on Saturday you might have seen Danny Murphy state that '11-on-the-trot' Chelsea don't have a weakness.

"I can't see one area in their team where they're struggling at the moment," Murphy said.

"It's fantastic for Chelsea supporters and worrying for everyone else."

On Saturday, one team that received their cards early was Leicester - strangely six were yellow and one was red.

That special red card was handed by ref Craig Pawson to striker Jamie Vardy for a two-footed lunge which saw him win the ball.

Vardy was so happy with receiving his card, he decided to leave the field in order to "take it all in".
