Neil Sampson: Based on his performance today Arsenal should sell Mesut Ozil not pay him more

Ricky Nelson: Completely self-inflicted defeat by Arsenal. Should kill games off, not sit back. POOR

Rick, Manchester: Where Wenger seems to have fallen down in recent years, is when the ship goes off course he doesn't get a reaction from the players. The mental strength of the squad is questionable.

Mesut Ozil is getting a lot of grief on air and on social media. But he's not likely to shine in a second half like that when his side were chasing the game and he was starved of possession. Is he?

Manchester City were pretty poor in the first half but fair play, they came out much better.

De Bruyne was the best player on the pitch and Sterling scored a wonderful winning goal.

Suddenly Christmas looks a whole lot more enjoyable for the blue half of Manchester.

A big, emotional response to that win from Pep Guardiola, Klopp-esque you'd say as he hands out handshakes and hugs, backslaps and pushes to all of his players.

    Tottenham 2-1 Burnley

Burnley remain game and break well again through Andre Gray but he has nobody up with him, he looks frustrated and ends up losing the ball.

You have to give credit to City. They have done what Arsenal did in the first half.

They have got in behind the Arsenal defence, they've been dynamic, played at a much better tempo and pace.

Spurs counter, Moussa Sissoko finds Harry Winks, who then finds sub Son Heung-min, The angle is against him but he shoots anyway - Tom Heaton saves with his face.

That's 29 efforts on goal for Spurs...

Just a few minutes left at City though, where the hosts look like winning after a hugely-improved second half. Arsenal have not shown up in the second half. Or not been allowed to anyway.

Gooner72: If Wenger loved Arsenal he would leave in the summer. Offers nothing to Arsenal now.

Corin Wright: Wenger in!, Wenger out!, in, out, in, out, shake him all about

MJK: Arsenal doing what they always do. No mental strength, not showing up to the big games and failure over the season as a whole

It is a cliche but this has been a massive game of two halves.

City didn't have a shot in the first half and in the second Bravo has not had a shot to save.

Arsenal have only had one shot on target all game - the goal. They haven't troubled Claudio Bravo once in this half.

De Bruyne has been City's best player by an absolute mile.

    He has been outstanding.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Etihad Stadium

Arsenal have been run ragged in this second half in a re-run of what happened to them at Everton on Tuesday.

All the old questions will be asked if they lose this. Can they pull it around in the closing minutes?

Moussa Sissoko could have been sent off for that high challenge on Stephen Ward and he's making hay while the sun shines. He's been excellent going forwards and wins a corner now.

Arsenal into the Manchester City area for I think the first time since half-time, but under pressure Theo Walcott can only scuff a cross out of play.
